I have now published over 60 books through Blurb. It is a fantastic medium for placing all your photo collections from trips and events into very high quality books that last for a lifetime. They are really top quality at very reasonable prices.

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. On the surface, this seems like a great tool. But all their plug-ins and uploaders are extremely flawed.Their support team is again - friendly on the surface - but very inept. They communicate as though they are robots. Don't listen to what you actually say nor resolve the issue. Their specs do not mount into the PDF they require, inDesign Plug in exports blank PDFs - their support does not acknowledge issue - NIGHTMARE !! Stay away from this company, unless you want to experience a frustration rollercoaster.

Great quality printing job!

Reviewed on 2021-05-07T21:10:25

I am a graphic designer and was looking for a more affordable and customizable way to order a wedding album for my husband and I.I stumbled across Blurb and it was exactly what I was looking for. I was a little skeptical of the quality (because it was so reasonably priced!) but when my book came, it was gorgeous and looked exactly how I had designed it to look. I highly definitely recommend their services!

Cannot order book

Reviewed on 2021-04-28T20:53:28

I completed a project on BookWright (mandatory for Blurb) and cannot determine how to order the book. There is no online chat or phone option. I spent 2 hours searching their site for instructions...others have done this...I should be able to....I emailed for help...5 hours ago...STILL NO RESPONSE other than the auto response that they are super busy.

Blurb use UPS to deliver US printed…

Reviewed on 2021-04-21T16:04:04

Blurb use UPS to deliver US printed books to the UK. The 10 books were held up by UPS and then arrived all damaged in the printing.Blurb agreed to replace the books and pay import duties. UPS delivered seven in one package with duties paid and then asked us for £70 in duties on three copies that were packaged seperately with no duty paid. Of the seven we recieved five were ok - not perfect but two were printed creased in the binding. Blurb agreed to replace these and pay the duty on the remaining three. UPS then lost the three are now conducting an investigation. Blurb will not complete our order until UPS have finished their investigation. We ordered the books in Feburary it is now April 21 - and we still have not recieved 50% of our order. More to the point UPS have just invoiced us £217 for duties already paid by Blurb. This has been hellish. Avoid Blurb - avoid UPS they are appaling.

Exactly as it looked on the screen.

While a little pricey, the book was exactly as it looked on my monitor. Very pleased with the results. In the future I would like to see larger size books available for a coffee table book.
