I personally love Current but one issue needs addressed about email access to sign in to your current account.

I personally love Current, I genuinely enjoy the app and definitely recommend it to anyone searching for a new and improved way to bank.The only issue I do have though is the login to the current app. Most cases after signing in once it's saved and automatically signs in on your behalf via device's phone number. I unfortunately often find myself using multiple devices due to theft or damage to my device, but when I get a new device I am promted to sign in using the same phone number that was on the device I had logged in prior, I believe it would be so much easier and efficient to activate allow app sign in using the users email address, now the option to use my email is there but for whatever reason never works to allow me to sign into my current account. Once this is fixed this app will be flawless in my mind.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR CURRENT ! This is NOT a good banking app. First off let’s start with the phone number that you can search on Google or the number on the back of your card.Please tell me current why you have a phone when it’s the SAME MAN on the auto EVERYTIME that literally tells you to chat in. The number the give you to call over the phone is a WASTE OF TIME. I have been using current since 2019 ! They have locked me out my account multiple times. 3/7 times they did it I was panicking because I need my money to pay my rent. They took SIX DAYS TO GET ME BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT ! I was emailing EVERYDAY AND NOBODY REPLIED! Cause my to have a $100 late fee added to my rent. Also the 7th time they kick me out of my account they did it on purpose ! I was in the chat asking to speak with a supervisor because the person in the chat was not helping me. The person who was NOT helping me sent my chat to someone else and the next person DIDNT introduce their selves as a supervisor so I thought I was still talking to a regular person again they were not trying to help me with a dispute I was trying to file. The dispute was from a fraudulent transaction that I did not recognize which is why I was trying to dispute and they refuse my service because I ask for a supervisor they literally logged me out of my account because they were not able to close the chat because I was not being rude to them I was literally just asking for a supervisor. Next thing I know they logged me out my account and it says “session has expired“ I tired to logged back in but couldn’t right ! Then check this out I was STILL getting notifications from the chat and they were saying “are you still there” and I was but because they purposely locked me out I was not able to reply which is WHY they were now able to close the chat. AGAIN THEY PURPOSELY LOCKED ME OUT THE CHAT AND REFUSED TO DO MY DISPUTE EVEN AFTER ASKING FOR A SUP! I am currently on day 4 waiting for them to reply to my email to get me back into my account. I HAVE MONEY IN MY SAVINGS POD AND RENT IS ALMOST DUE AGAIN. This is ridiculous, when I get back in I’m transferring my money to a new account and closing this one out. Another thing, they advertise these benefits of overdraft fee etc. BUT I had to beg them 2 months ago to give me access to my overdraft feature because I am paying for a premium account ($4.99 they take from you for having a premium back out) my Direct posit are more than $500 ( which is another requirement ) AGAIN I HAVE BEEN USING SINCE 2019 and I had to beg in 2021 to get this feature because they are charging me and not letting me get the features they advertise on these commercials. DONT GET IT YALL ITS NOT WORTH IT ! YOU CAN EVEN TALK TO A REAL PERSON OVER THE PHONEEEEEE.

My job issued a early deposit to my account but since it was not like my other direct deposits it has not transferred into my account.I contacted customer service multiple times but they do not see any deposits on their end, my job says the money left their account so where is $1,300? It is nowhere to be found. Once this issue gets resolved I am canceling my card with this company and going elsewhere. I have never had an issue like this and I am beginning to feel that this "bank" is a scam. At first I loved this entire bank and the "new way of banking" that they advertise but now I'm beginning to think that there's something sketchy and darker going on underneath this nice and sparkly façade that they create. Stay away and don't make my mistake.

I normally don’t write reviews, but this app is my way of managing my money perfectly.I know it may not be right for everyone, but it is an online bank only. Loving the aesthetic of the app and I can find EVERYTHING I need and more! I have read reviews that mentioned issues with direct deposits and other things, but if you don’t have premium then it’s gonna take longer for money to move or do whatever. I definitely recommend this bank for someone who is tech savvy and is more of a zennial like me!

I recommend nobody gets current! May 6th 2021 i was at work while at work i had just received my first paycheck,this is my first paycheck my first job in 3 years im 23years old & i have 4kids to take care of alone! they're father passed away a year and a half ago so im doing this completely alone. Some how someone from way in miami (im in largo florida) was able to gain full access of my account add there phone number and all and remove all of my money from my account without even using a card! How the hell is that even possible!? So you cant even call to speak to a real person ! You have to text an automatic line like whattt.. They tell me they cant do anything till the charges stop pending so i can dispute them so it took literally 3days for the charges to go through so finally i dispute the charges and yesterday May 11 2021 they tell me that no errors have occured so they are not giving me my money back i am overly PISSED! Know i have no clue on what the hell to even do ! I have babies to take care of! And that was all the money i had a whole 812$ just gone... This app is not safe for banking at all please do not put any money into current i truly feel they are the part of stealing the money!

This is the worst cc debit card company I've heard of. The allow gas stations to hold twice as much as you spend on gas for 10 days.When the card should not be authorized of there is not a certain amount to cover gas. Very shady people they steal. They also act like your enemy when calling support. They were rude ,non caring. Don't waste your time with these slime bags
