Great Product With Minor Things Wich Can Be Improved

Reviewed on 2021-01-02T15:32:59

The product is great and works very reliably. It's a bummer that DNS over TLS or DNS over HTTPS is not supported.A web interface would also be nice to manage the device(s) more conveniently.

Worst customer service

Reviewed on 2020-12-23T10:06:10

More than a month and a half and still no refund for RMA. Return was delivered on 11/30 but still nothing.Worst experience working with a company. Should have never ordered through eero.com and should have gone with Amazon. What a disaster. No response to emails. I am going to do a chargeback.

Good luck if you have a problem

Reviewed on 2020-11-19T18:47:31

A week after switching to a three eero system, our gateway would drop service at least once per day for about 1 minute.Customer service told me to swap out the gateway one for one of my others. I did and that largely solved the problem. Then the one that had the problem started dropping signal when used as the repeater. Eero customer support promised a return. Then after a week of silence, they said I needed to reboot and wait to see if it went out again. This pushes me to 4 weeks into the problem with no resolution Good luck if you have a problem.

The eero product is overrated and does not work.

Reviewed on 2020-11-05T02:10:45

The eero product is overrated. I spent almost $500 to boost my internet and their mesh system is lacking.Quite simply, it does not work. Their tech keeps requesting from me to move the units around and reboot them. That does not work. I have tried everything that EERO has asked me to do and still does not work. Save your money. Its too late for me to return them.

This promises to extend your network…

Reviewed on 2020-08-01T08:15:51

This promises to extend your network around even the largest house, but be warned: what it does is create a new network as a subnet. So if, like me, you use your wireless devices to control your wired devices, you will have to do some research to work out how to set it up. Once sorted, it works well.

horrible customer service experience

Reviewed on 2020-07-23T00:03:07

I ordered an eero product (the mesh system) and I've now been trying to return the product for about three weeks now.I emailed the company and got a quick response. The customer service representative asked me for a bunch of different information (across four different emails) and then never followed up. I then called and, after being on hold for half an hour, spoke to a representative for 45 minutes. He took down all my information and told me he would process the return and send me a confirmation email the same day (I never got an email from him). It has now been six days since our conversation. I then called again. This time I got the run around from another representative who said that my return is being processed but had no idea what the timeline would be or whether or not it would be approved (I haven't even opened the box). I can't speak to the quality of the product but I can say for sure that if you ever need customer support you should definitely not buy a product from eero.

Avoid this company if you ever plan on needing customer support

Reviewed on 2020-07-22T11:55:56

WARNING if you ever need a new power cord, good luck! I keep receiving the same copy and paste emails in response to such a simple request.I don't even want a free one, I just want to buy a new cable! But they don't sell them, and it has to be a specific cable or the device will not work! Seems like they just want to force you to buy an entirely new unit instead of a $15 cord.
