I would have written if I'd had a bad experience, so it seems only fair to write when it went ok.A few days after booking I was notified by email that the airline had cancelled my connecting flight (likely due to insufficient bookings). A local representative called me the following day to explain my options. I filed a refund request online, and received the full amount in less than two weeks, as promised.read more

As a leading airline of Taiwan, you'd expect EVA to have a website that provides excellent user experience and customer service.But no, instead, what you get is an outdated system with laughable graphic user interface that works about 10% of the time. C'mon EVA, live up to the standard of your ticket price.read more

re. eva air , the customer is a small cog in a big wheel and will get no response from the company,after 4 cancellations in 2020 due to covid on their part, I originally used points to upgrade which was carried forth to last flight, Bangkok office demanded a further 4000 baht by a very rude representative no pay no-fly. I left 2 letters of complaint at Bangkok and Taipei

I was on an eva airlines flight and I flew alot in my life but they where the worst I litterlly hadsomeone kicking the back of my seat over and over again the mother of the person wouldn't do anything about it and I was left to deal with it and I complained multiple times to the staff to which they ignored me and said they had no other seats so eventually when we where 4 hours from arriving after a 18 hour straight flight mnl to yyz a different lady says yes they have one seat and they then changed me like bro they where so spiteful and made me sit there on purpose tbh and I even emailed them to complain about my experience to which they basically said they where sorry and didn't care much at all this was 5 years ago and seriously still makes me upset to this dayread more

Just my own experience, whilst many airlines struggle to give refunds, I've just had an excellent experience.I booked a flight 11 months ago, which I cancelled soon after. But I also paid £500 for two return upgrades to extra legroom. The upgrade vouchers were non-refundable but valid for a year. Now 11 months on, I send one short email to customer services asking if the voucher date will be extended. Eva offer to simply refund the full cost, for a non-refundable voucher, without me asking. Money with me within a week. Couldn't have asked for any better.read more
