Terrible treatment of clients

It's terrible to see how they've treated their long-term customers and supporters after all this time. They just decide to cancel all of our previous memberships and deals that we paid for ahead of time. As a LTD owner, I was an early supporter that helped them get off their feet and invested in their future growth. But it seems none of that matters to the founder who decided to kick all customers off their platform and focus on strictly B2B going forward.

I've been scammed, just like others

Just like others, I trusted this company and invested in their lifetime deal. I was surprised to see that the website is no longer allowing login, I have no access to my account and can't use the product that I paid for. The company is still in business, but they did not keep their promise to their loyal LTD members and did not offer refunds either! a bunch of scammers. Something must be done to stop other startups from doing the same. Shame on the CEO and everyone behind this company who steal people's money and run away like that! Everyone should post their reviews everywhere on their social media and every channel they have. No one should do business or give money to these thieves.

Lifetime Deal = Broken Promise. $499 Down the Drain.

I invested $499 in GoCharlie’s Lifetime Deal because I believed in their vision and wanted to support an upcoming platform. Sadly, that trust was completely misplaced. Now they’ve shut down the consumer platform entirely, citing a pivot to enterprise solutions — and have refused to offer any refunds to those of us who funded their early growth. What’s the point of selling a lifetime deal if the product dies within a couple of years? This isn’t just a pivot — it’s a betrayal of early adopters who helped build this company from the ground up. We were promised lifetime access. Instead, we got a shutdown notice and a “thanks, but no refunds.” It feels like a cash grab in hindsight. Avoid GoCharlie and think twice before trusting flashy startup deals that can disappear overnight.

Buyer Beware: Review of GoCharlie's Conduct and a *WARNING* to anyone considering doing business with GoCharlie.

Buyer Beware: GoCharlie's Conduct This review is a stark warning to anyone considering doing business with GoCharlie. Based on my experience as an early adopter, their conduct has been nothing short of dishonest and a betrayal of trust. As an early supporter, I invested in what was promoted by GoCharlie AI software, when they were just starting, choosing to back them through their offered plans. Many of us in the early community provided feedback, time, and faith, essentially acting as startup capital (as part of whatever the F they were doing getting monies in at the time) However, the company's actions have proven them to be fundamentally untrustworthy. As I previously stated: "This company is dishonest. False and misleading. Does not honour a commitment made." This assessment is unfortunately accurate. GoCharlie made commitments to its retail users, including those who purchased Lifetime Deals (LTDs), only to abruptly abandon them. Their decision, seemingly triggered by a single weekend workshop, led to a sudden and drastic pivot from a consumer-focused platform to an enterprise model. The email received confirms this pivot and the devastating impact on their loyal user base: "As part of the pivot we announced earlier this year (but not revealing that it would involve complete dissolving of customer accounts), GoCharlie will fully transition from a consumer-focused platform to delivering enterprise-grade generative AI solutions... As a small, lean startup, we've reached the point where we can no longer sustain the consumer app you've known and supported..." This explanation rings hollow. While startups need to adapt, the manner in which GoCharlie executed this change was highly unethical. They chose to prioritize a new direction over the existing user base that helped them get off the ground. The consequences for users were severe: "With that, we will begin shutting down the GoCharlie platform over the next two weeks. The full shutdown will be completed by April 15... If you have any content you'd like to save, we encourage you to download it before then."f A two-week notice to download potentially significant amounts of work is grossly inadequate. Many users may not have seen the email in time, leading to the complete loss of their valuable content and effort invested in the platform. This demonstrates a profound lack of respect for their users' time and contributions. Adding insult to injury, the company explicitly stated: "To our Lifetime Deal (LTD) users... We will not be offering refunds for LTDs." This is perhaps the most egregious point. Individuals who paid for "lifetime" access, believing they were making a long-term investment and supporting the company's future, have had their commitment unilaterally revoked with no compensation. This is not just poor business practice; it feels like a deliberate exploitation of early supporters. They took the "startup capital" from LTDs and then cut off access when a more lucrative path emerged, pocketing the funds without fulfilling their end of the "lifetime" bargain. The idea that a company in a rapidly evolving industry like AI would have its entire direction dictated by a single event also seems highly questionable and suggests a lack of strategic foresight or, worse, a convenient excuse to abandon less profitable users. In conclusion, GoCharlie's actions demonstrate a pattern of prioritizing their own shifting interests over the commitments made to their early adopters. They have shown a willingness to discard their loyal user base and their work with minimal notice and zero financial restitution for significant investments like Lifetime Deals. Recommendation: Based on this experience, I absolutely do not recommend doing business with GoCharlie. Their conduct has been dishonest, misleading, and disrespectful to the community that supported them. Proceed with extreme caution, as they have proven they are willing to abandon their clients without hesitation or compensation when it suits their business model. Company that does not honor commitments

Big disappointment, they had entered as startups into LTDs (lifetime license with initial one-time payment) accumulating initial money for their business and then kicked out the CEO and eliminated our lifetime licenses (CEO would honor agreements by keeping accounts active). When you buy an LTD you know you are at risk, the company can fail, but those like GoCharlie who do not fail but continue the business and eliminate the LTD users who funded it...they do not deserve success. Do not support this company.

History of instability, does not deliver on product promises

As an early adapter and lifetime deal purchaser GoCharlie has been an expensive disappointment. Early adopters stood by as the company went through different variations for their target audience, differentiating factors, product offerings. The founder/CEO was responsive and seemed committed to delivering a good product. Then the company got outside funding, stopped innovation, vacillated between being a B2C or B2B product, stopped making any tangible improvements, developed a poor user interface. In January 2025, the new CEO assured long time and lifetime customers that they would continue to have access to the product, (even though the company was now going in an enterprise-only direction) for life as long as the company remained in business. The company is not going out of business and in March 2025, they’re saying that they are not giving any kind of compensation or access to B2C customers. All will be closed in 2 weeks. This company has an history of instability, not delivering on promises, and definitely not one that one should rely on for any business function. They have no USP, no differentiation, poor customer service. Buyer beware.
