I've made an appointment for shopping in store in Kerkrade. First everybody had to wait in a line outside the store pretty long eventhough our entering time was long past due.Inside I've been looking for everything I needed (check list, mostly gardening) in time hassle. If youre planning to search something forget it..
That's why I asked for help in the outdoor department to get everything I needed in time, at least tried.
The first person I asked just told me to walk outside without mentioning me. When outside I asked for help in the soil department; instead if listening to me or looking to my notes (running grandma's errands) the guy just looks at me and sais: "you look like you need this" and went on running around. After leaving, still in stress and not having everything needed. I found out at home that he just recommended me soil for apparently weed, cannabis growing. Deciding from my appearance that must have been what a guy like me was looking for...
Other note.. just because I ask you in German or English because its easier for me, doesn't mean I understand what you're saying in dutch!!!

Is Hornbach online shop a scam?

I ordered items on Hornbach online store 48 days ago. It took me 2 weeks to get hold of Hornbach that blames the supplier for the delay.Now they suddenly have changed the order to delivered but I have never received the order. I think I need to report hornbach online store to the authorities as a scam.

If I could give zero stars I would! Just had an aquarium delivered to my apartment.The delivery man asked me to come downstairs and brought it out of his truck on a wooden palette. He left the aquarium attached to the wooden palette in front of my door and would not help me with deattaching it. What sort of delivery service is this??? The delivery man seemed to enjoy that I had no scissors (I had no idea I had to do all of this myself), that I was left with a bunch of wood and that I had to carry the aquarium up the stairs myself. I was also delivered a wooden palette that I now need to get rid of. I didn’t ask for a wooden palette! Bad service, unfriendly delivery person, absolute worst! I received more help from a passing stranger getting the aquarium off of the palette, and his help was for free!!! I will never purchase from your company again! You ought to be super clear regarding the poor delivery service that you provide! This isn’t a true delivery service, it is a store-to-your-front-building-door TRANSPORT! No one carries anything for you! I’m surprised I wasn’t asked to unload the aquarium off of the truck myself!!!

Nonsense delivery service that brings a dishwasher only to the entrance of the building and not to the apartment.If I were able to bring the dishwasher upstairs myself, why would I need delivery at all? Now I am 6-months pregnant, I have a huge ~50kg box at the staircase (where they left it) that I cannot move, blocking the way for the other neighbours. The delivery person was very unfriendly when I told him the problem and suggested in a very rude way that I should ask some neighbors to bring it up for me. Which, first, shouldn't be my responsibility, and second, I don't know any neighbors because I just moved in. In addition, the dishwasher came with a dent because of bad handling. Never again.

Incredible bad service! Never seen something like that.. I order the same material twice, it was never delivered.The service is horrible, for any of my question it took days to answer.. And even if for the second order I checked every day.. It was not delivered.. No calls, nothing in the post box. Never order online at Hornbach. It's a pity because in the shop the workers seem extremely competent!
