I purchased my Mercedes GLC220d in May 2019 after its manufacture in April 2019.
The vehicle has a very bad tyre scrubbing issue when turning on either damp surfaces or gravel.It basically glides forward juddering rather than actually turning which is very off putting.
My wife drives the car mainly but we often carry our grandchildren in the vehicle.
We have been told it is safe but our concern is that Mercedes UK are refusing to accept responsibility???
What poor poor service and customer neglect....
I have been advised that it requires All Season tyres as it has left the factory with the incorrect Summer tyres!!!!
Hopefully I may get this problem sorted to my satisfaction soon

4 years ago we bought a Smart ED, an innovative Smart.
After 3 years the app that indicated the status of charging,was retired and they published a new one, BUT compatible (they say) only with the new model the SMART EQ. They proposed for only 20.000£ to buy a new Smart EQ and they guaranteed the app working for another 3 years! MercedesBenz are you serious?!?!?!?

had a E220 and a E320 bore the E200 was Ok but anyone with flash suspension will just a fortun and

Mercedes S Class / Over 100,000 Euros, S Class (2014- ); a very vulnerable and insecure car !!!! Easy access for hackers !!!

Hello Everyone , I had a very shocking experience yesterday in Central London. After I parked our car and locked it,we went to have lunch together with our guests from Chicago, USA.. When we returned back.. and wanted to take our camera from the boot (trunk) I was shocked to find out that all our guests' luggage, including passports , money and many other important files and documents, also, my very expensive camera (worth over £ 4.5 k), was stolen without any sign of forcing or visible damages on our car. The police came for investigation and they couldn't believe how easy a car of £ 80,000+ can be controlled over radio frequency. It is a shame for MB !! I called the emergency button on my vehicle but they were not able to anything. Their only advise was to call customer service on Monday... Before I placed the order for this car I was told by MB sale's representative how safe and reliable S Class MB is !! I'll write a lot of reviews, we'll contact all media possible and we'll let all our friends and anyone else in Europe, USA and Canada HOW INSECURE, UNSAFE MB S CLASS IS ! How is that possible that somebody can control our car from outside? I'm not confident anymore to drive such a car or to leave important files, personal or official documents inside of it unsupervised. And then what ? I have to keep them always with me even when grabbing a coffee on the go?! How confident I can be for bringing my car to the dealership ! I'm curious what explanation MB will have for it? I'm curious what position they will adopt now? This is not the type of care that I was assured I'll have and I paid for. Definitely not !!! Please do not relay on Mercedes Benz, avoid the fair. Avoid to have your identity stolen. Avoid to become the easy target of hackers!! In my next reviews I'll let you know their position... for now all of us, we are in shock! John C.

Coming back after I called 5 times @ different departments of Mrcedes benz (UK, Germany..) I just can say this; THEY ARE VERY UNHELPFUL IN EVERY ASPECT !! YOU CANNOT RELAY ON THEIR SERVICES EVEN THE CAR IS IN WARRANTY ! They don't care about their customers even paying over 100,000 euros for S Class !!
I was thinking (just months ago) tO by an SUV from MB, Ohhhh, NO ANYMORE !! Mercedes is not anymore up there. I'll post videos and reviews with other many issues and really bad experiences we had in just 2 yrs.. they will lose more then they would pay for paying attention to their customers ! MB = rubbish/bed experiences/unreliable dealership etc.

I didn't received the answer I was looking for, asking how safe the car is now, knowing that the locking system was compromised ? It was a possible that the codes to be copied while the car was in one of MB dealer etc or what is happening then ? How was that possible the car to be unlocked and very valuable goods to stolen from the boot?
Buying and waiting 6 mo for this car to be delivered to me with all extras ordered, I was under impression I'll own the best car in the world, but not the case!
In terms of safety is a joke! However I have a very good reason to inform people to be aware buying a Mercedes car !
I'm so disappointed about your" prestigious/luxury" car and of course I'm really thinking to sell this it and never return back to Mercedes Benz as a customer ! Traveling around the world, visiting communities, conferences etc I'll "talk" about these experience of course.. I intend to contact few journalists/magazines from different countries and spread the truth ! I'm looking to inform the others D Benz direct competitors as BMW, Jaguar, Bentley, Audi, Lexus etc and tell them the our story. Nice topic of course! Daimler, there are many people saying that you are not deserving our respect anymore! Changing informations with our friends from USA/Canada is unbelievable what mercedes means today in terms of their product quality and safety!! I'm not alone! In ~ 2 yrs time I had already so many bad experiences with your product that's why I cannot be silent anymore...
As you said in the email bellow; "OurHead Office, Daimler AG are not currently aware of any technology that can override the locking and security systems (by means of software tampering), providing that the cars components are not physically connected to, replaced or altered in anyway from the time of manufacture..."
.. Certainly Daimler AG deserve to be "awarded" for their unclear "office" explanation ?!
MB doesn't know that the locking system of mercedes cars can be easy broken by hackers ?! Really they don't know that ?! Whaaat a shame! I spoke at least with 8-10 people from MB so far and no one can explain what is going on, how is it that possible the car to be opened from exterior by other people using electronic devices ?
Much better to say that; "Daimler AG is not interested in anyway how this is happening to their prestigious cars, therefore NO action/investigation is necessary to be rises up to protect their product/investments and credibility" ! Interesting ! Maybe they don't care about their customers anymore, no problem I'll not be tired to use media in any way to inform inocence people what DB/MB means. . . and this will continuing for many years .. long, long story.
