I just want to put this lovely man out there for being such a lush caring and kind man with a ship lifter that clearly had problems he treated the shoplifter professionally with respect with out making them feel like total rubbish well done to u the man’s name is T. I worked for mitie for over 6 years as…

I worked for mitie for over 6 years as a Director I'm all about team work and leadership. Dont come and work at mitie if your looking for leadership. Top management is poor unprofessional and don't care about customers or staff.

Scheduled interview with Tuncay…

Scheduled interview with Tuncay Yildirim Fabrication Supervisor in Derby area. he didn't turn up for the meeting, so i chased the office, so was rescheduled half an hour later, the guy appears a further 10mins late, he then calls me a ladies name, argues that he didn't just say what he most definitely did, then without a hello or sorry, he says- he has to drop someone off and will be back later, i said no we had an interview time set for 12, then reset for 12,30 its now 12.40 and i was using my lunchbreak, he then gobbed off and hung up, he was really aggressive, rude, antagonistic, totally unprofessional and i felt he was displaying specific prejudice to me and who i was. im utterly disgusted with the behaviour of this low life. A formal complaint was raised through HR but i doubt anything will happen and he certainly wont change his attitude, total lack of manners and continue to display ignorance and arrogance on this level.

Complete absolute clowns 🤡. Utter massive 🔔 🔚's. Applied for several jobs, with the right qualifications they ask for. Yet get a email saying, we have moved onto next stage, unfortunately you don't meet criteria. Proper massive wankers.

Terrible company to work for

Terrible company to work for - truly awful how bad they are. The supervisors are poor - everything is a joke. Just let them dare sack me. I would love to take them to court.

Wrongful seizure of property

I am writing this review out of sheer frustration because I have hit a brick wall with your customer service. On 06/11/2025 (Flight PC1178, Stansted to Sabiha Gökçen), security personnel at the gate confiscated my Apple keyboard from my bag. Passengers routinely travel with power banks, laptops, and devices containing far stronger batteries, yet my small keyboard was singled out. To make matters worse, the attitude of the ground staff was appalling. One staff member actually laughed while checking the paperwork, dismissively telling me, "rules are rules, mate". I found this incredibly unprofessional. Upon returning to London, I chased this up through every channel. I was eventually told via phone that the battery was "leaking". This is a lie. I have photographs proving the device is in pristine condition with absolutely no defects. Since then, I have been passed from pillar to post. My complaints on X (Twitter) were ignored. I reached out via LinkedIn, was given a specific email address, wrote to them, and was redirected again. Since that last email? Total radio silence. No one has replied. This situation caused significant inconvenience as I was forced to work in another country using an unfamiliar keyboard layout, disrupting my work. You have seized my personal property without valid cause (hiding behind a false excuse) and have now completely cut off communication. Frankly, taking a passenger's property without valid grounds and then refusing to engage amounts to little more than theft. I expect a full investigation and compensation immediately.

Racist and targets vulnerable disabled adults

Mitie Security is a serious danger to the public, especially vulnerable people. My autistic son has now been physically grabbed, cornered and harassed by their guards in more than one store — including today at B&Q, where a guard came up behind him and put hands on him for NO reason. This is not a one-off. It’s a pattern of aggression, profiling and intimidation. Mitie previously had a guard removed from Sainsbury’s for harassing my son — and yet it’s still happening. My son is mixed-race but pale-skinned, disabled and vulnerable — and Mitie staff seem to target him because of how he looks. It’s blatant discrimination and completely unsafe. I have reported this as harassment and assault to the police and added it to his MASH safeguarding file. Mitie has no control, no training and no accountability. This company should NOT be responsible for anyone’s safety. They should be shut down.

I wish I could put minus stars

I wish I could put minus stars. My school leaver son worked as a cleaner for this company. They wouldn’t let him take accrued annual leave for 10 months. Then when he told his manager that he couldn’t use their system for booking it, he was brushed off. So he didn’t have any annual leave for 2024. Then in 2025 he was told he couldn’t carry annual leave over to 2025. He finished the job to go to university, and took his annual leave accrued in just 2025. He had just left home to go to university, and they sent a debt collector after him as his manager had signed off a day and a half over what he had accrued in 2025. They know he wasn’t able to work out their system. He did that filthy job to pay for university. They robbed him of holiday and now they have distracted him from his studies and put a lot of worry onto us, after he worked so hard to be able to afford to go to university. A decent employer would have been proud of one of their young cleaners going off to study for a degree. What a demoralising lesson for a hard working young person.
