Great tool, but needs support

This is an amazing tool for easy background tracking for video, albeit you can NEVER own the copyright. My only concerns are that the downloads and actual track generation seems to consistently run into issues, generating numerous tracks locks up every now and then - I spent a few days trying to create a certain 5 tracks. It also takes hours for tracks to render for download - so don't expect this as a quick tool for rapid daily creation. Also, the customer services/chat are VERY slow to respond. I have a pro account and my average response rate is around 12-16 hours. For a company that has huge coverage in social media and a clearly strong revenue stream (not just from licenses but also from the IP royalties) I am surprised they are not as advanced in focusing on customer services and client retention.

THE GOOD AND THE BAD!

THE GOOD AND THE BAD! THE GOOD SIDE: Some users may express reservations about mubert.com, but personally, I find it to be a remarkable AI music platform. Its capability to generate tracks of up to 25 minutes in length is particularly advantageous for those looking to establish a vibrant music presence on platforms like YouTube. What's more, the platform allows you to produce a staggering 500 tracks per month, which undoubtedly contributes to its exceptional value for the investment. With these features in mind, mubert.com stands out as a versatile and cost-effective tool for any aspiring music creator seeking to build a substantial library and engage with their audience in a meaningful way. THE BAD SIDE: I have been utilizing the services of mubert.com for nearly three years, with a mix of consistent and intermittent use. Over the past 18 months, I have noticed a concerning trend where reaching out to them for assistance yields no response. An example of this lack of responsiveness is evident in instances where other YouTubers claim content ID ownership and even go as far as requesting the takedown of your videos; unfortunately, Mubert seems to disregard any appeals for support in such situations. It is important to exercise caution when utilizing mubert.com for AI-generated music, as the platform may not always have all the necessary copyrights in place. In case you encounter a dispute with a YouTuber claiming copyright infringement, the most prudent course of action would be to remove the contested section, whether it amounts to 5 or 20 seconds of content. By preemptively addressing potential copyright issues in this manner, you can mitigate the risks of facing more severe consequences due to content ownership disputes on the platform. CONCLUSION: When reflecting on the level of service received from A.I. music websites, I can confidently say that finding better service elsewhere seems highly unlikely. Unfortunately, it appears that these companies are not particularly invested in addressing any potential issues that may arise. Despite the fact that ownership of copyright should not influence the resolution of problems, it is evident in my experience with Mubert.com that platforms like Youtube often hold considerable authority in these matters, acting as both judge and jury. The situation is quite disheartening because Mubert initially exhibited commendable customer service when I initially signed up with them. It appears as though they may be facing challenges within their business that have led to a noticeable decline in their responsiveness and overall service quality. It's truly regrettable to witness a company like Mubert seemingly falter and lose focus on maintaining a high standard of customer care. Hopes are invariably placed on businesses to uphold a certain level of service excellence and commitment to their customers, and it's disappointing when it appears that these expectations might not be consistently met. This shift in quality and dedication that seems to be occurring within Mubert's business operations is concerning, especially considering the positive impression they initially made with their strong customer service approach.

I Paid 49 Bucks to Gaslight Myself Into a Digital Dumpster Fire - Is Mubert.com API a Scam?

So, gather round, folks, because I’ve got a cautionary tale. It all started when I stumbled across a site called Mubert.com. I was looking for AI-generated music for some projects, and their site promised just that — royalty-free tracks, customizable, real-time generation, the whole dream. Looked a little sketchy, but hey, it's 2025. We trust robots now, right? Wrong. The site gives you almost zero info before you pay. No real documentation, no dashboard previews, no pricing per use. Just vibes. But I was feeling optimistic (and stupid), so I paid 49$ for their “API” plan. Immediately, the website gave me... absolutely nothing. No confirmation screen. No invoice. No receipt. It was like handing cash to a guy in an alley and watching him disappear into the fog. I waited. And waited. Ten hours later, I finally got an email — a shady, slapped-together thing that looked like it was written on a flip phone. It included my API key in plaintext (because who needs security?), and one vague sentence that made it sound like I'd just signed up for a polling service, not music generation. I searched high and low for documentation. You know what I found? A one-line API doc that literally said: “Polls is a simple API allowing consumers to view polls and vote in them.” And that was it. No endpoints, no usage limits, no onboarding guide, no authentication structure — just... that. So I emailed them, politely asking for clarification and maybe a refund, considering I had basically bought a digital question mark. Their response? A cheerful little, “We already sent you everything. No refunds.” Thanks, guys. Turns out, if you dig through their email long enough, they casually mention that generating 3 minutes of music costs $1.47. That’s right — after paying 49$, you find out the actual usage cost. For comparison, Stability AI charges around $0.20 for the same thing, and they actually provide you with a dashboard, pricing calculator, and – you know – real documentation. I didn’t get a user account. I didn’t get a receipt. I didn’t even get a clear idea of what I’d bought. Just a raw API key and a vague sense that I’d been mugged by a startup built in a basement on expired Red Bull. To top it off, the website itself looks like it was built in 2011 by someone going through a breakup. Misaligned buttons, broken links, and zero transparency. It’s like a haunted funhouse designed by blind raccoons with anxiety. So yeah. That’s the story. 49 bucks down the drain, no real service in return, and a reminder that if a company hides all its documentation until after you pay, you’re probably the product — or the punchline. I’m off to buy a gumball machine for some real kids who deserve it.

What a bunch of BS

What a bunch of BS. Advertises as free. Wants you to buy a plan after you sign up before you can even hear the music. Garbage.

Liars

They have free tracks apparently no youtube copyright strikes. I've used some of those giving credit to the site/artist, and after a year all of them got strikes, I had to replace/mute ruining the videos.
