In the long-term, we are working to leave a cleaner, more viable world for the next generation. Every day, we help individuals find solutions that will insure our children and grandchildren inherit a world with cleaner air and water, efficient and renewable energy production, and safe, healthy foods grown with sustainable techniques. As a national, non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 1976, we promote small-scale, local, and sustainable solutions to reduce poverty, promote healthy communities, and protect natural resources. We have a well-deserved national reputation for providing research-based technical assistance and information in the fields of sustainable agriculture, sustainable energy and sustainable community development. Through our websites, print publications, audio and video materials and hands-on technical help, we touch hundreds of thousands of lives every year. We are headquartered in Butte, MT, with regional offices in Arkansas, California, Mississippi, New Hampshire and Texas.
