Based on recent experience with NEXO - I unfortunately have to advise against it.
Of course a young startup has to deal with problems,but unfortunately a technical problem on their side caused me to lose all my savings.

Nexo is not a good place to take loans, way to volatile. As an early adopter i feel obligated to inform the public.I had taken a large loan and post the fact that I did on trust pilot to demonstrate how stable Nexo is. Nexo went all the way down to $1.05 from $4.00 to cause my liquidation and this is suppose to be in a bull run. Next day it started climbing higher as it was just to liquidate me. The CEO of Nexo also said he felt liquidation are healthy for Nexo. I bet it is, but not for the participants. In fact I lost my health insurance due to this. If you can't take a sizable loan in a bull market I highly dought you can take one in a bear market. Once my contract is cleared I will no longer use loaning feature and I diffently won't be using earn interest feature with my other crypto. I've now realized this company is simply a dividend play. What's the point of taking a loan when you can't even keep that loan for a year. The bright side to this is I was smart enough to buy the bottom not the top. After this situation it hard to recommend Nexo to any friends or family. I must say Nexo you lost my trust.

they stole so many peoples` money and now they even cant hide it by banning people from their social media,thanks to the sites like trustpilot.
they stole my BNB 3 months ago ( case nr 346016 , probably again without any shame they ll write here again that they are working on it and i should wait more and more ) , when i checked their telegram, i saw at least 20 people like me, they all got banned then,like me, cos of raising the issue. same happened in reddit too, still banned from there also for exposing their scam.
dont fall for the fake positive reviews here, written by their staff.. all these fishy stuff about banning people after stealing their money, writing fake reviews, huge amounts spend on advertising reminds me of only one thing and you ll agree with me if youre in crypto for long enough: bitconnect ..
just stay away from these scammers for your own sake

to nexo wallet and the company of nexo and nexo wallet , my LTV wasnt that high where nexo need to take almost all my BITCOIN first then took alot of my ETH ,took ALL my TRON , took almost ALL my CHAINLINK and left me with .00000264 , why didnt nexo company take NEXO TOKENS Im puzzled that was my most holdings out of all my coin holdings . NEXO WALLET didnt even think about taking ( nexo coin ) also for help paid to down my loan for one bit looks like , No FAIRNESS IN THIS COMPANIE AT ALL , if my loan needed to be paid down a bit take a bit of everything not just the high worth value coins . xrp and stellar never got touch also .

I had a positive rating of Nexo but to me it isn't worth the time of trying to update it.Last year I deposited crypto and kept using the instant credit lines to leverage up, always staying within LTV and well above liquidation of any assets. Well, when they changed their LTV calculations supposedly it didn't affect anyone after they went into effect as long as you didn't take out a loan. The day they went into effect (May 5th) my liquidation number changed to around $35,000 higher. I had like $180K of crypto in there, 1.5 BTC, 8.2 ETH and like 12.1K Nexo and some little bags of other stuff. I am a trader so I know we were going to correct to $30K and had built the portfolio to sustain the drop and stay within LTV, even down to $27K if we retrace to the .66 or .618. Now I have a little under .4 BTC and the Nexo token... thanks for the liquidation run Nexo. Tried emailing and chat but it's all automated BS responses.
EDIT: Just as I said in this review, when you change the LTV it changes the liquidation amount, Nexo has said the same thing just in a different way... they said when they change the LTV guidelines it does not affect your liquidation amount as long as you deposit more assets to fit their new LTV guidelines. Even if you didn't take out a new loan and if you already took a loan against your assets they basically readjust the contract during a market correction, not for your benefit but to protect themselves.
I have a feeling Nexo is about to get REKT with all the negative reviews, just like they REKT the portfolios of their customers to cover their liabilities. I'm sure they settled millions in liabilities with this liquidation run of theirs.
& to top it all off they even have a nice link of why the liquidations are needed...

On the first of May 2021 my father called me to ask for help with his account at Nexo Finance.He asked if I knew what to do since all his funds (about $120,000.00 in retirement savings, my dads 73) had disappeared from his account. He had told me about the concept of Nexo it was like a bank and the funds were insured and give you interest. He wanted to ask me if I had any friends that were good on computers that could help him. I told him not to log off the site and get as much information as possible while still connected. He told me he had already logged off and could not get back in. I asked friends who told me that if my dad had google 2FA it was almost impossible to hack and that the only way to get round the system was for Nexo to have disabled it on their end. I also told him that this must have been an inside job if he also got no confirmation e mails for the withdrawals. He later told me that Nexo stated that it must have been someone with physical access to his 2FA and email that had taken his money. This is impossible since my mother and father live alone on a 13 acre farm I live on campus. He also later told me about the claim that Nexo made that he had lost his phone and email and had called Nexo for help. We knew he had definitely not done that so then with the text "proof" of what was said (from Nexo) I realized this must be all made up and know Nexo were going to delay everything and hope he goes away. I told him to call the police the FBI and everyone to expose what looks like fraud or if not fraud complete stupidity by Nexo. This will of course not take away from the fact that the money was stolen. Getting 5% interest on Bitcoin is not worth loosing 100% plus the interest in the first month. No not trust your crytpo keys to anyone keep it in a Ledger wallet (hard wallet). Do not trust anything non-regulated non-American companies say its probably lies therefore trying to part you from your money. Do not trust Nexo for sure. This story I will post to all my friends. The local police tried to help but Nexo refuses to send them any information on the case or tells them it got lost in the email! or that the police do not know how to use the email system.
Nexo will say this did not happen (case#404152) that they are looking into it but will not help my father. They are not a bank your funds are not insured (their are), they have no security, they will not help you. Prove me wrong Nexo help my father. I will publish a retraction. Those who have money in Nexo take it out before they do or help someone else do and those thinking of using the Nexo system don't. Its a shame in this world that individuals (and/or companies) prey on our senior citizens.
