The point of wearing anything is to feel a certain way. But instead of just feeling confident or pretty, we wanted people to feel good. To know that the pendant around their neck serves a bigger purpose than just being jewelry. With so many connections to our beautiful culture and language, my wife and I had a lot of trouble finding ways to outwardly express our inner values. We wanted people to dress not only to show off their sense of style, but their sense of identity. From the country that they have a connection to, to the beliefs that they hold close to their heart, we knew that peoples' values needed an outlet. We set out to create more than just a brand, but a family that provided people with an avenue of expression, and a modern way to exhibit their passion through fashion. On January 22nd, 2018, Nominal was born. Stemming from our best-selling Name Necklace, the brand grew into a sense of pride beyond just about your actual name, but also the person you are and hope to become. Not only meant for the celebratory highs of your life, Nominal jewelry is also designed with the intent to provide a sense of resilience in the trying lows, too. From patience to love to trust, many of our pieces are not just meant to display the virtues that you love, but to serve as a "note to self" of sorts, a reminder to always be the best version of yourself. Inspired by the poetic and concise nature of the Arabic language, Nominal jewelry often showcases a lot of Arabic words and phrases that carry a lot of weight for people, whether they are familiar with the language or not. Since the conception of the company, we've grown constantly and have included more and more cultures and languages in our pieces, to bring together not only fans of fashion, but people of different cultures from all around the world.

I have made purchases multiple times from Nominal, always been satisfied with the products.So far none gone black, or anything. I love the simplicity and the messages. My necklace from my last order broke, and I reached out to customer service via their website, and been emailing back and forth with them to figure a replacement, or whatever needs to be done to fix it. Nominal’s support been absolutely courteous, professional, and kind. I only broke the necklace, yet they offered me anything to compensate me. Unfortunately, the one I ordered was out of stock, yet I was offered any of their product. Lucky me, I get a new necklace, new pendant, and the satisfaction of my purchases. I already recommended Nominal to all my friends, and gifted some of my favorites to my niece. Looking forward to your new products.

Nominax was a very reasonable company last year prior to their new rules regarding the duties fee.I paid a fortune for shipping and double that amount for duties which I was completely unaware of due to the fact that they used to be Duty free. Unfortunately I will not be buying from them ever again due to the overwhelming amount I had to pay to just get my products.

I spent hundreds of dollars buying jewelry from this place and I asked if they could please give metwo additional nominal pouches with my most recent order because I accidentally threw them away when I received the first box, I was even willing to pay for it. It was a gift for my wife, I explained all that. Their customer service team and the chat bot they have on their website were both very unhelpful and just said no. It's one pouch per piece of jewelry and they don't sell them individually. I also thought that paying over $19.00 for shipping was steep but I did it anyway. Then I get a notification from the shipping company nominal uses telling me I have to pay another $25.00 for delivery for customs and duties. If nominal is going to charge that much for shipping up front, I don't think customers should have to pay additional fees related to shipping afterwards. Customer Service didn't even answer all of my questions and disregarded my question asking if I can choose to have the deliver company return it all back to nominal because paying the shipping company DHL another $25.00 for shipping after already paying nominal over $19.00 was too much.
