Worst customer experience and employees lies, terrible speed. Don't trust them

One of the worst customer service experience I have received from any company. BEWARE: Most of theemployees lies to make a sell for a product you don’t want and I have ended up paying 500 euros fine for nothing. Below are full details of my experience with them.
On 21st of Dec 2020 I went to the Vasco da Gama store to inquire about the internet packages they have. The employee at the store told me that they have Fiber option and following the conversation I have requested for 200mbps service. I have asked what is the upload speed. He mentioned around half of the download speed which should be 100 mbps and I was happy with that. Made me wait over an hr as they had system issue to book the appointment. This should have been my clue.
The installations was done on 29th Dec 2020. After the technician made me wait at empty house all day, he finished the installation. To my surprise it is not a Fiber Option connection. Upon checking the upload speed, he told me I can only get up to 20mbps when connected with Ethernet cable. Without the cable I was getting only like 1-2 mbps speed sometimes. The speed was just terrible....Working in the media where I have to upload large files and do lots of video calls for work this is not what I wanted to have.
I went to the store and told them that this is not the service I wanted and I would like to cancel it. I was told I have to call the customer service and get authorization. First, I was told I have to pay for the installation they have done, unless I speak with tech team. Which I did, they have confirmed that in my area there are issue with speed and they made a note. I can terminate my contract free of charge as it is within 14 days. After many calls which was not free and costed me over 30euros I have received the authorization.
On 4th of Jan I went back to the Vasco da Gama Store and spoke with “Vinicius Bernardes” who processed my cancellation and assured me I will not have to pay anything even for the 3-4 days I had the connection as it was within the trial period of 14 days.
However, to my surprise on Feb I have received a bill for 500 euro for cancelling my contract. I have gone back to the store to speak with them. They were not helpful at all. I was told that I did not have any trial period as I have done the contract at a store, not remotely. I have also called them and they have said the same thing.
After wards I have sent them an email with all the details and mentioned that it was not my fault that I have asked for a Fiber optic internet and they gave me something else. And of course, no one ever responded to my email.
How can I not have a trial period and not able to cancel the connection within 14 days, especially when I was lied to and was sold something else than what I wanted to have? This is a pure scam. I have lost 500e, plus all the bill for call, literally for nothing.
They need to train their employees better and stop making them lie to customers.read more

This company seems like a criminal organization. They make mafia organizations like the Cosa Nostra look like kinder gardeners.I got their "Internet Fixa" back in December 2020. It promised me 100 Mb/s for €26,00 a month, via 4G internet. At first, it was around 4 Mb/s but in January it went down to under 1 Mb/s most of the time. I couldn't do any work with it and after numerous attempts to get it fixed with their technical department, a technician called me and said that in my area it was impossible to get the speed up. I then tried to cancel my contract, after all it was not what i was promised. But their commercial department didn't just want to do that and kept saying I needed to give their technical support another chance of fixing i, even though their technicians already explained that that was impossible. Finally, after several weeks I got a letter saying I could go to a NOS shop and cancel the contract (why not just cancel it? Why do I need to go to a shop?). However, even though I made it clear 2 months before I was not happy with the service and wanted to cancel, they kept sending me bills for the full amount of 26 euro a month and now that it is cancelled, they send me another bill for 3 times in a row now. Why do I need to pay for a service that never delivered what it was supposed to deliver? Trust me, stay far away from this company. The worst company ever! If anyone has an idea how to file a complaint against this company, I would love to hear about it.read more

I just stayed one hour and twenty two minutes speaking with the customer service to try to solve my internet issues.Guess what happened?! They did not fix it and told me I have to pay 6€ monthly to improve my internet or I have to pay 40€ to technician come to my house.
I just wanted my internet speed back to the normal without pay any money!read more

The contracts they make you sign should be and probably are illegal. Never sign anything with NOS!The customer service is friendly but never helping and their legal department is huge. After they wrongly cancelled my services they managed to charge me 800€ for cancelling the contract (which I did not). It took months to get the internet service working again and they charged additionnaly. Not to be trusted and I hope the get fined till bancrupcy when it comes to a legal court.read more

Our 2 year contract is due to expire, and we had a representative make some promises of upgrades & a lower price to our service in order to keep us as clients.They were supposed to arrive to install the new upgrades within 5 business days. After not arriving within that time frame, we called. And we called again after they still had not arrived over a week and 1/2 later. They kept promising it would be soon.... we are now 1 month later and it still has not been installed. We have called many, many times - nothing gets done!!! I'm pretty sure they purposely are taking their time, because it has allowed them to receive 1 more month of the higher payment we had with our previous contract. I'm pretty sure they'll arrive now, but it just feels really dirty and they are affecting our work productivity- we really needed that power router upgrade for our office. 1 whole month and they can't even stop for 5 minutes to deliver a tiny, simple piece of equipment!read more
