I bought the Dragon home 15 software after using the free version on MS word. I am dyslexic so I thought it would be ideal.The quality wasn't good, and the free software was better than the E199.00 paid version. I am not saying the software won't work for other people I am just saying it wasn't for me.
I battled with and asked for a refund within 12 days, they have a no-hassle 30-day refund policy, splashed all over their website.
Them: No problem, we can refund you E39.00.
ME: UM-WHAT? I paid E199.00 12 days ago.
Them: Oh, you bought dragon anywhere subscription that's non-refundable.
ME: No I didn't, when I bought dragon home 15 you offered me anywhere for free. I bought home.
Them: Have you got a screenshot.
ME:?
Them:?
ME: Yeah cause I randomly screenshot stuff. It's your offer! Here is the invoice and here is a screenshot of your 30-day refund policy.
Let's say six emails later I was offered a refund of E150. I PAID E199.00
Them: You didn't complete this ... online form.
ME: Ha, I did and here is the SCREENSHOT of the said form. (Fool me once.)
What a horrendous company to deal with. I am dyslexic so emailing is already frustrating, this company is shameful. Still not got any money back but I will. No-hassle refunds...yeah okay.

See this Nuance Software Company they sell you software no updates then they discontinue it I paid239.00 for a Premium Dragon Naturally Speaking software and never received an update now the Customer service team said its discontinued. I noticed in the US the company's get into the Stock market Get large Then they screw all their customers because Nuance are dealing with Big business.
These are the company's you don't Buy from but the big company's don't care about us they just care about convenience. These are off shore company's that have no respect for customers but have respect for the money they make they call that GARBAGE people with the mind of trash take and don't give.
You think this is rite Nuance took my 239.00 and i received no updates nothing the Federal Trade Commotion is supposed to regulate what these company's what they are doing but they don't and they say they try to help us bull dinky they are just trash that worry about themselves not the consumer. All it is is how much they can take I wish them bad not good.
Lets stop giving our money to company's like Nuance off shore lobbyists so they don't get rich on US consumers and say the hell with us even the big company's that don't pay tax but collect's it.
Nuance don't care if we don't buy their product they already have a following and the consumer cant get it out to enough people so they take advantage of us that's what Nuance did said the hell with me No the hell with you Nuance.
The US made them Whop They Are now They Step on us.

Nuance needs to up their game when it comes to online orders. Yesterday I placed an order to download Dragon Naturally Speaking,but although my credit card was charged immediately, I received no confirmation email and the website did not recognize my order number. Attempts to get help via email went nowhere.
Today I phoned customer service. I had to call two different numbers, and in the second call I was placed on hold five times by a very polite and apologetic operator. Even after all that, it took several more hours before the email with the necessary download link arrived.
The reason for the delay? Apparently the order was "in review" by the accounting department. I have no idea what this means, since the charge had already gone through. They had my money - what else is there to review?

I was interested in buying their Dragon software. However, I'd heard some stories about their awful DRM,and don't generally buy anything with DRM in. I looked at their FAQS - not a single one of them covered DRM, so their help pages were useless.
I emailed them about it. No reply.
I contacted them a number of items via social media. No reply.
[All in April 2021]
When a company ignores potential customers then you know their support is useless, and if you run into problems you will be stuffed. Avoid.
PS When I saw all the other 1 star reviews it makes me so glad I didn't give Nuance/Dragon any money! The DRM is pointless anyway, since the software was pirated a long time ago. All DRM does is inconvenience paying customers like me.

I considered giving 2/5 because of the high accuracy of their software and the ability to use itthroughout an OS.
But it's exactly that and the fact that there's no competition in the space (unless you are keen on having everything you say sent to Microsoft or Google) that is probably the cause for why they just don't care. Not even a response to a license upgrade request!

I'm providing my assessment of this seemingly Con Operation. I would ask for as many complaints tocontact me and put together a formal class action complaint with proper Industry and Consumer Authorities

I've received communication from Maria V Re: the non received package. Friday April 09, 2021 i expect the funds to be returned.

As you can work out for yourself when browsing these reviews, you are dealing with a bunch of scammers.You buy something in good faith. Then when you need to reinstall it, new computer or computer failure etc, you find out that you have only been renting it according to the terms and conditions that are then pointed out to you. If that is not a scam I don’t know what is. Possibly in the US they can get away with this. I’m a UK user and I’m pretty certain that this practice in the UK is not legal. I’ll find out as we have a Small Claims Court procedure that I’m about to launch and will update this review with the result. These people are no better than any two-bit scammer that calls you to try and part you from your money, they are just bigger scammers. If you had a company and you cared about customer service don’t you think you would at least try to reply to reviews like this? The fact that they don’t speak millions….
