From start to finish, Evie McGarrity supported us not only in finding our property, but in securing it at a great price. Given how challenging the search was — our requirements, preferred area, and budget made it feel like finding a needle in a haystack — we genuinely believe that without Evie’s persistence and dedication, we would not have secured the house we now call home. We are extremely grateful for her efforts throughout the process. Once our offer was accepted, we were passed to Ocean Solicitors, whom we chose as we had previously sold another property with them and had a very positive experience. The same team, Livia Cupello and Taylor Haydon, handled both the sale and purchase of our properties. Livia is a strong and highly capable solicitor who consistently helped us make sense of complex legal jargon and was more than willing to robustly represent our interests when required. Her confidence and professionalism gave us real reassurance throughout. Although Taylor is the assistant, we found her to be fully competent and professional in her role. There were occasions where she was required to deal with more complex aspects of the process that were slightly beyond her level of experience — this was certainly not a reflection on her capability. With further training and experience, we have no doubt she will handle such matters with ease in the future. Everything within her remit was managed with complete professionalism. Finally, Julie Bridges, our Move Manager, truly stood out. Julie felt like having a trusted friend on the inside — every question or request was handled efficiently, calmly and always with a friendly approach. We were genuinely a little sad when we received the keys, knowing it marked the end of our regular contact with her. On occasions when Julie was unavailable, Andy Burge was always happy to step in and provide support, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend the team.
