Like most people are saying via this app...the worst customer service. I have been trying to get my account fixed for a week with the same generic copy and paste response that doesn't help."will respond in 12 hours maximum" total bs.

Scam

I signed up for a one month free trial of RappiPrime, their monthly subscription service. After 2 weeks I cancelled, well in advance of the next month's due date. Today I have been charged for this service to continue for another month. After trying to contact customer service I received absolutely no help, just very dismissive and generic copy and pasted replies. Also the food is almost always late and the app is buggy.

I am done with rappi

I am done with rappi. The delivery guy yesterday had no change. Didnt let me pay with a card either. How are you gunna drive and delivery products and not carry change??? He said he can only do rappi credit. So 5k pesos in credit. I contact rappi and they said they cant do anything. Rappi charges u 1.6k-2.2k clp for their services. So in reality I didnt get my full amount of change back. I got 1.6-2.2k less. The customer service is disgusting, they just dont care.

Time to fire Rappi

Reviewed on 2020-11-04T02:47:13

Sucks to fire Rappi because I've really enjoyed their app for multiple years. But I've had enough with their terrible customer service.I've had problems getting responses from their customer service before, or had them try to not refund me the full amount for items that weren't included in my order (in Rappi it says the store sells an item, then the person picking up the food finds out they don't even sell that item. Rappi still tries to act like a criminal and refund me less than what the item costs until I call them out for it). Also just orders that never show up, only to find out they weren't ever going to make the delivery, but wasting like an hour and never telling me. I have to proactively contact them to find out why something isn't showing up. If anything goes wrong, they're completely useless The last straw was Friday (4 days ago from this review). I ordered asian food. The Rappi came to my place and confirmed my name before he gave me the food. When I opened the packaging later, the food was for someone else, and it was a hamburger from some random restaurant. Reached out to Rappi with a photo minutes after I found out. Still haven't heard from them up until now 4 days later. This is with Rappi Prime, which is supposed to give you good service lol It's kind of dumb to me because I was ordering daily and have given them tons of money, so why would they want to lose a loyal customer, but they don't seem to care at all about their customers. I uninstalled the app and did a chargeback on my credit card in order to get my refund. I gave them like 10 chances and they kept screwing up over the past couple years. I'm done Just a side note, but I've also heard that you when you tip a Rappi through the app, they take a percentage of the tip. That just goes to show the overall greediness, stealing from the delivery people who barely make anything It used to be a good app, now it sucks with many mistakes, greed, and terrible customer service. Uber might be greedy as well but at least they have people who respond to you quickly and they typically take responsibility when they screw up

Rappi attempted to charge me $10,000…

Reviewed on 2020-10-13T13:52:00

Rappi attempted to charge me $10,000 for a hamburger. In general, when Rappi works, it's convenient, but slightly expensive. I would like to continue to use them, but they are making it impossible for me and others living in Medellin who use Visa cards from US banks. For reasons unknown, they often fail to convert Colombian pesos to US dollars prior to submitting the bill for payment to Visa. As a result, a hamburger that costs 10,000 COP (about $2.60 USD) is sent by Rappi to Visa for $10,000 USD - not $2.60. This then triggers a security alert from my bank and blocks my Visa card in addition to declining the Rappi charge. I then have to call the bank and straighten this out. Rappi then adds insult to injury by ignoring the support ticket. This happens frequently enough that I will use their competitor Domicillios delivery service for cash. There is no excuse for such stupidity by their system administrator or lack of customer support. I'm just glad that I didn't have $10,000 in my account at the time, or I'd be out that for a freaking hamburger. Good luck getting Rappi to refund your money.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Reviewed on 2020-09-12T00:27:40

All of the restaurants in my area just switched over to rappi instead of in-house delivery drivers and now the service area for these restaurants shrunk to a few KM ..now i cant order any of my favorite restaurants. I emailed rappi about this and they said. "It's a pleasure to greet you ?. We do not want you to be discouraged, we continue to grow to provide you with a better service in more areas of the country. We hope that soon we can be in your area doing everything for you.Have a great day!" A copy and paste message that didn't give me a timeline or address my inability to order .. these people don't care at all

Rappi sucks food is always late and cold it's a waste of money unless you don't mind having to reheat your food before eating, absolutely the worst service. Nobody to reach out to when issues arise Rappi just passed the buck to delivery guy and him to restaurant. Ordering burgers and pizza shouldn't be difficult.
