In October 2020 I paid nearly $550 for four Fox 2.0 Performance Series Shocks my 2006 Ford F350 diesel.I purchased the shocks based on a ShockSurplus reps recommendation. Six months later, the left-rear shock fails, blowing the shock end-cap off with hydraulic fluid dripping all over my driveway. So, I submit an on-line "hassle-free" warranty claim, including my phone number they requested to ShockSurplus. Two weeks later, I locate their phone number and contact them. They are sorry they say and tell me they emailed me a response, to go look through my junk mail box. Sure enough, I find their email response in my junkbox. The email informs me that ShockSurplus doesn't handle Fox's warranty claims, that I have to communicate with Fox direct. So, after three failed attempts to reach someone (JESUS! ANYONE PLEASE!) at Fox I push "1" on my phone and they answer my call rather quickly (clicking 1 must have dialed the sales dept.). The rep. issues an apology approximately ten times and then proceeds to inform me that the 1-yr warranty is a "service" warranty, not a replacement warranty. This means I have to remove the shock from my truck, then package and ship it to their shop in El Cajon, CA to be analyzed and be rebuilt, if rebuildable. Between mid-Nov. 2020 and mid-May 2021, I drove approximately 60-mile round trips each day to-from work of which 6 miles of it was on a county dirt road. Question: Are the shocks, we the customer purchase from Surplus Shocks new, or rebuilt shocks? Anyway, I'm now waiting on a second-round warranty claim form to arrive by email from Fox. After arrival I must complete the form and pay to have the defective shock shipped for shipping it from North Carolina to El Cathrone, CA. From every direction, customers are being hosed by businesses.

Horrible! Order came in incomplete. Couldn’t get in touch of customer service through email, chat,call center was always voicemail. When missing order came in after 4 days it was defective but had an inspected sticker on the box. This is very inconvenience and upsetting. I hope the owner/manager who ever can address this or someone. Because now we have to buy the other piece at a local store. We bought the strut at shocksurplus as a set!

Made a order recommended by this company. When contacted with the recommendation they stated it had just been in stock and that I can make the purchase.After the order was made they never gave me a tracking number. I contacted them via email requesting a tracking number and never got a response. Couple of days after i sent them a message through their website requesting the number and never got a response. Days after i spoke with someone on the phone requesting a tracking number and he could not give me a answer. He said he'll contact me the following day with a answer. Following day i got a message on their website saying they are actually out of stock. Spoke with Jeff on the phone who stated was the manager. Ultimately shocks were not in stock. I had a special trip planned, installation appointment made two weeks in advance so my truck can be ready and now its been ruined. Just a fyi. Thank you.

I ordered a set of shocks from them - they don't make shocks so this review is about customer service rather than the product.The order was shipped in two packages - front and rear. The rear set was sent via Fedex, and arrived promptly. The other one - via usps which still is under control of dejoy criminal. The package stuck in Denver with no updates, movement, or ETA for over a week. I called customer service and they shipped the replacement overnight. Other than bad decision to use dejoy's outfit, they behaved in the best possible manner. Granted, the phone number is not listed on their site but I found it online, emails are not paid attention to.

NO Customer Service At ALL

I have tried to contact them on numerous occasions via email as they have no phone number listed that you can actually call.I have yet to get a solution from them, they do not have any customer service. I did receive one email where they ask me a stupid question that I answered when ordering the shocks. I'm currently trying to just return what I ordered.
