Ordered a phone case from Skinnydip, I never received order confirmation, I emailed the customer service around a week later to which I got no reply,kept emailing, no reply along with no phone case. I then contacted them on Instagram to which someone said they had replied (they hadn’t) and when I said I hadn’t received that they requested an alternative email to contact, they said to wait for the case, I did, and finally they said to fill out a form and send it back to them to get my refund, this is now over a month later. Ordered 3 iPhone 12 mini cases with Skinnydip and when they arrived the one was huge and for a completelydifferent phone but labelled as a 12 mini on the front and a 12 on the back but it was for the 12 max. I contacted customer services straight away to let them know about the issue in case others were also faulty and it was 3 days before I got a response saying that if I sent proof of postage they would send a replacement ASAP so I did. Heard nothing back.
Item was returned with paperwork filled in asking for an exchange and explaining the situation so other customers didn’t also have the same issue I had. Heard nothing back until I got a refund around a week later. I checked stock online and the 12 mini was still in stock so contacted customer services again. Explained I wanted an exchange not a refund and it is still showing stock online. Had a response stating that a refund was given either because of: no stock or I filled my return paperwork in wrong. They told me to ‘just reorder’, however, this would mean paying postage again and I wouldn’t be able to use my discount code to get 10% off as a new customer, which is what I did originally.
To conclude: customer service is terrible, takes forever to reply and are unhelpful. They didn’t do what they said they would (posting out a replacement ASAP) and didn’t follow instructions for an exchange.
Very negative first experience and I’m disappointed. I won’t be returning and won’t be recommending them.read more
