Most aggravating App award goes to.....

I absolutely hate this app. I am a coach and a parent. The app crashes constantly, the website is SUUUUUPER slow,it is nearly impossible to modify your role on the team as it changes or gets screwed up. No idea why TeamSnap is so terrible...but there is almost unanimous agreement between the parents that they would love to never use it again.
I had a bill from a pizza party that I paid directly in cash (because who on earth would ever use their payment services?!?). This bill has been on my account for YEARS because there is no way to delete it!
If TeamSnap was a printer, I would drag it out to the parking lot and beat it with a baseball bat.read more

Used to be good. Now too many forced ads (try waiting 30 seconds being force fed an ad). This is even on a PAID account. Reports of pornographic ads being served. There are much better ad free , free apps out there. TeamLinkt is free and ad free.read more

Not a good app, customer service or billing structure. Be careful, we signed up to this as a team because it had a good COVID declaration form. The costs of running the service spiralled. Cancelling the service is difficult and customer service non- existent.
Better Apps exist out there for free. I wish I’d spent longer doing my homework.read more

TeamSnap's support system is nonexistent.

TeamSnap's support system is practically nonexistent. There is no phone number to speak with an agent, and the chat is not a true chat, since a message pops up that someone will get back to me later. I just have a quick question about a glitch in the system. Honestly, this app is too costly for what you get out of it.read more

As a club director f a regional youth water polo club, or as teamSNAP identifies it, a League Commissioner,I was looking for an application that would manage team rostering, contact listing for athletes and parents, and athlete invoicing.
Pros: teamSNAP allows the management of multiple team rosters.
teamSNAP handles the registration of new athletes.
teamSNAP provides a communications platform to communicate with the team and with registered athletes, even though the communications platform is awkward and inefficient.
Cons: At about $500 a year for the basic sports club application, one would expect the application to be user friendly and turnkey. It is not.
The application help menus and manuals are disjointed and using them generally feels like you are going on a treasure hunt.
The application does not manage athlete profiles well and does not have a system to match an athlete with a master profile when the athlete registers for a new season of event. This creates multiple records for the same athlete and requires time intensive manual editing to fix the problem.
Since the application does not manage athlete profiles with unique profile identity, there is no way to manage all of the payments made by each athlete over a season. The application uses disjointed invoicing and registration methods that will not merge all of the athlete's financial records.
The fees charged by teamSNAP (or their partner financial processor) are higher than other platforms (including PayPal) and higher than simply standard credit card fees.
teamSNAP says that they require the customer to sign up for automatic renewal with a credit card on file. This is a common (but marginally fraudulent) business practice (ie. Sirius XM) that is very unfair to customers. If they provide a good product and good service, I will certainly renew, but teamSNAP has no right to want to control our money or obligate our club for the out year budgets!
Overall, we are going to use teamSNAP, mainly because we need an application and we have not found a commercially available one that will work better. We are hoping that the market and competition will make vendors in this market more responsible and professional.read more
