I love tivoli and I had fun in there! In the short summer of 2019 in Denmark, I had a special happiness in Tivoli.I highly recommend this ancient paradise. You can play and watch a show on a Friday night in the summer. Dancing with friends on the grass

Bought a Turpas in their automats in Tivoli, and got double charged, and got only one Turpas, total scam.Aka had to pay 490 DKK for one Turpas.

I have always been fond of Tivoli. Been there since I was a child. Not cheap. Yet I do not go for the rides anymore but the "free" concerts (often wonderful classical music)and their Friday concerts (before Covid). Always wonderful flower displays. Some years ago they started tidying up the all too many bad eateries that were there and started demanding more from them. Still very steep prices (to cover their rent).Yet the quality is far better now than say 1980s.

The only Danish place that takes advantage of Covid-19 epidemic cancellations. Me and my girlfriend booked tickets for Tivoli Garden and some more places in Copenhagen.Due to Danish government's decision (code orange), people from Netherlands cannot enter many Danish cities including Copenhagen these days (October 2020). Therefore, we had to cancel our trip to Copenhagen. We got all refund from hotels and other tickets we booked even though some of them didn't have free cancellation. Since we booked ticket in March 2020, many places did understand the situation of epidemic and governments decisions, except Tivoli Garden. They refused to cancel the ticket and they refused to make tickets to be able to use at a later time. They replied after every email with a different excuse to reject refund. They even said "code orange" is suggestive for holiday trip that we could still visit Copenhagen. On the Danish Police website it is stated that "Persons resident in a country classified as banned can enter Denmark if they have a worthy purpose.". Tourism is not a worthy purpose unfortunately. Tivoli Garden violates their own rules which states "If a restriction is imposed without warning, or the restriction is of a substantial nature, it is possible to have the money refunded by going to Tivoli Box Office, Vesterbrogade 3, 1630 Copenhagen V". Besides, they also violate EU consumer law for misinforming customers about code orange regulation, rights of refund for services that cannot be obtained due to the Covid-19 epidemic and government restrictions. Horrible experience! Spending 1200 DKK for horrible food and 4 roller coaster rides.Most disappointing experience ever. So many people with no regard to safety. We looked on internet and there was supposed to be a buffet at restaurant Promenaden. No buffet. Okay ordering burgers. Waiting for 1h. Seeing tables next to us getting their food. Waiting for 10 more minutes. Then asking the waiter when food will be ready, and then she brings the burgers with dry buns, vegetable oil leaking from the burger. The Mushrooms in the burger were soaked in vegetable oil. I squish the mushrooms with a fork and oil just poured out. With French Fries the same thing. No mention from waitress that it will be more than 1h off waiting for food no apologize, no nothing. Then stand in long lines for rides and being squashed together. Being able to go on 4 rides before guards are hoarding all the people together. Plus many of the hand sanitizer stations are empty. Me and my boyfriend are so disappointed. There should be limited amount of people in the park!

Bad service, no human feelings or understanding for children. Have been in the queue for over 20 min.And just before the ride we were rejected of the height, missing 1cm. In total 96cm though we measured the high before entering the line. By misunderstanding we have overlooked the correct queue for one ride and ended up in another, but due to the new digital queue app we should leave the line no matter what. Waste of time and money. Service at the ice and candy shop was rude. In general take a trip to LEGO land

The most horrible concept I've EVER experienced! So much to say but where do I begin?No wifi option from the park and no charging stations for your phone either. What??? My phone was pretty dead by 2pm. The fact that you have to digitally stand in line before actually standing in line felt degrading. You look around and everyone is looking down on their phone. The Danish "hygge" has certainly been ripped out of what Copenhagen's theme park is supposed to represent. Big mistake Tivoli.
