Stop trying other natural deodorants! Get type:A

Reviewed on 2020-08-14T14:09:03

I am not a heavy reviewer of anything, but this deodorant had me running to their Facebook page to post about it!I have been looking for the perfect natural deodorant for years, literally YEARS. I have tried no less than 7 and always ended up going back to my men's non-natural deodorant or Secret Clinical strength. I found Type:A on instagram and decided to give them a chance. Like any natural deodorant, you have a transition period after using a "standard" deodorant. This is when your body is acclimating to the new ingredients and essentially purging yourself of the potentially toxic ingredients of your old deodorant. You are unlikely to deal with this transition period if you are currently using a natural deodorant, for what thats worth. My initial purchase was of a 3 pack of 3 different scents. Of that 3 pack I only liked 1, named the Achiever. I tend to lean toward clean/masculine scents and this met my needs. I have since tried every scent, including limited editions and still stick with just the one. The application of type:A is nearly as straight forward as a standard stick deodorant. Being a cream, you squeeze the tube a bit then rub it in under your arm pits like any other stick. I like this application MUCH BETTER than some other natural deodorants like roll-on or the powders. Type:A lasts me 6-10 hours depending on how strenuous my workday is. They offer all 5 standard scents in mini size that I keep in my purse for "emergencies" but the days that the deodorant only lasts 6 hours are few and far between, which is great since I only like 1 out of 5 scents. I wish you could buy them individually. But that being my only complaint about Type:A its so small and not about the product itself, there is no reason not to give it 5 stars.

Wow - great company

Let me start by saying, I rarely leave reviews. (I actually want to often because I depend on them as a consumer, but just never make or find the time.) I need to change that, so here's a start... I can't use traditional deodorants - they just don't work on me. I discovered a deodorant online that worked beautifully for a while, then it was off and on. When I learned about type:A deodorant, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me, but that doesn't mean it won't work for you - in fact, it probably will, my body is just more stubborn than the average I guess. As a result, I emailed to ask if I could send it back for a refund. I was way past the 30 days and had opened 3 out the 7 items I purchased... but it doesn't hurt to ask. Madeline answered my email with a very kind and generous response. She said that my satisfaction was extremely important to the company and that I could absolutely return all of the products. I couldn't believe how nice she was. I'm not sure if I'll be refunded on the open products, but anything they do will be greatly appreciated given how late I was in contacting them. I highly recommend trying their product. It could be the answer you're looking for. And if not, you can rest assured that they stand behind putting your satisfaction first. They seem to be very genuine. Live on the edge and give type:A a shot... it couldn't hurt. (By the way, I don't know anyone from this company - this review is an honest one from a regular consumer like you) :)
