Customer service is shocking

Reviewed on 2021-04-07T18:04:07

Customer service is shocking. They have reneged on our contract price that was agreed last autumn.I have tried on various occasions to sort this either directly on the phone or more recently on line. Again no resolution. This is the first review I have ever posted and this is a reflection on how unhelpful they are. Never mind trying to get hold of someone!!!!

Worst service/experience I’ve ever had

Reviewed on 2021-04-07T17:21:11

Absolutely terrible service. I had complained as my bill had increased without prior warning.I received a response to inform me that this was an error and I should not have been affected. However, this was to be amended on my account. One month later I receive my bill, which again is higher than usual, after being promised this had been resolved. Customer advisor response time is extremely slow and their responses are very difficult to understand. I now have to waste more of my own time trying to seek a resolution to their own mistakes. All of this on top of extremely slow WiFi (much slower than what I pay for) makes me wonder if this is worth it. I do not wish to receive a response here advising me to contact you. I have contacted you and you failed to rectify your mistakes. I have replied to your Resolution Team and expect a solution ASAP.

VIRGIN MEDIA treatment of a customer I have been a customer with VM for over 25 years ,last Novemberi got a call saying since you have been a good customer we have a deal for you ,we will give you extra channels and double internet speed for £5 and i said ok . Last week i wanted to go back to pay less ,that was when they said i enter into a contact which on May 2022 will go up to £93 ,for normal tv and internet ,I have never been in a contact over the last 25 years ,now to cancel it will cost me £285 ,what a way to treat a customer for over 25 years ,so if they call you check all the details and ask question when they call-- VIRGIN MEDIA did reply but could not do anything

Terrible company, dont use!

Reviewed on 2021-04-07T16:32:08

After years of poor wifi, terrible service and an ever increasing bill we decided to leave Virgin. After a few days we were called and asked as long serving customers why have we left. So we explained the issues with the wifi, not being allowed to have a v6 box and poor customer service we were told that we shouldve had a v6 box as requested and if we stayed with them that we could have a new hub and v6 box and lower payments. We came away to think about it and when we phoned back to accept we were told no, you still cant have that and here's a larger bill. Thanks Virgin, jog on!!
