The worst customer service

The worst customer service. Phone call go around in circles, mostly unanswered. My last attempt I could not hear the operator (when I finally did get on)and then it dropped out. Not confidence inspiring for a telco. I won't be using.

This is the worse service for business. I have used Vonage for 3 years. Now no customer support.If something goes wrong with your phone service you are on you own. There is no longer customer service. I would advise you if you are looking for phone service place Vonage on the bottom of your list. You would be better off with a ground line.

Absolutely useless customer service. Perhaps the worst I have ever come across. They had no clue what service they were providing us,and couldn't even locate us on their system - despite managing to charge us every month, of course. In the end I was shunted between 8 different teams/customer service agents and none could help. Now going to just stop paying and hopefully then someone will be able to locate our account and formally close it. I would strongly recommend against going near this company based on our experience. The quality of their product is also the reason we're quitting. Totally unreliable.

Discussed by this company. Constantly faults. Phone calls in bad quality, Not being able to fix them Customer service available from chats - no phone communication.Incompetent staff. Not worth the money or supposed services. Will try to cheat you out of money. Extra charges on accounts for no reason. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

Deplorable Customer Service Experiences

Let's first start off with the fact that Vonage assigned us a dedicated account manager when we needassistance only to receive a notification we now don't qualify for this manager because we don't spend enough a month. Basically, you only matter if they get a lot of money off of you. Shows customer service is not a focus. Case in point, spoke with Derek on a Friday when wondering where the 3 phones we ordered on a 2 day shipping rate were. They didn't have record of the order that I placed on a Tuesday. Said there must have been a glitch. I had to overnight the phones and asked that I be reimbursed for the overnight charges. That I would pay the 2 day shipping as I originally set it. Derek proceeded to tell me I was a liar and that if I had placed the order I would have gotten a confirmation. We got into a heated argument and I asked to speak to a manager. Put me on a long hold came back and said no manager was answering him and that he couldn't keep me on this line anymore because I was taking up his call line. I said that I am YOUR CUSTOMER and I will be placed on hold until your manager gets on the phone. He put me on another long hold and then came back and said no manager was responding and that he would have to have someone call me back. Vonage shows its true colors of despicable customer support by only giving you an account manager if you pay more and the regular reps they have on the phones call you a liar and argue with you. Highly offended and disgusted by their tactics. Beware if you are considering using this company.

Number held hostage by Vonage

Have had Vonage for five years and the price has more than doubled. Since everyone I know and all my accounts have this number,I decided to port my Vonage number to a mobile provider for more features and less cost. Vonage is refusing to give a FOC (Firm Order Commitment) for my number to go to the new carrier. After three weeks of nonsense; giving me the runaround with scripted non-answers in heavy Urdu accented English; a broken chat button on my login page; a cancellation number 866-243-4357 that is "invalid"; and six broken promises to respond to me by email. I am done with this company holding my number hostage, I filed a complaint with the FCC today. You can always distinguish an incompetent from a criminal by the way their "bungling" always lands in their favor and not yours.

This is my my last straw with the company used them for several years every time i use the customerservice is different today a customer tried to call me the phone literally didnt ring and couldnt leave a vm i texted the rep--he said he noticed what the issue was then asked me to call myself--I told him the point of customer support was for vonage to resolve a vonage problem he then said it might be an intermittent problem, or maybe the problem didnt exist--after he just admitted he saw what the problem was--then it was escalated to a supervisor who called me, hung up when i said hello--then said they cant talk to people and was just testing my service--then i get a call from corporate--who 1st asked me for my account id and password and knew nothing of my issue-- im cancelling on monday what a sad embarrassment--if you own stock in vonage--sell it--its going down the tubes a few weeks ago I had an issue and the woman literally wouldnt help me--and when I got irate she said they will review the call and side with her!!! Total clown world company----

I'm still on hold trying to cancel my account. He keeps delaying, and making it sound like its some great bargain.Still on hold keeps telling me... incredibly sneaky, wants to take advantage of me, they keep charging for Vonage to my bank account, but I haven't used it in over 18 months!
