We started using WordAgents about three months ago. They made it easy to start. They incorporated our feedback well and were quickly providing exactly what we need, or very close to it. We've used some alternatives before and prefer WordAgents.

Stole over 70k words I pre-paid for (Over $4,000)
When I signed up for Word Agents years ago in 2020, their policy clearly stated that our credits do not expire. Their quality started going downhill as they began incorporating AI content into the so-called human-written content that I was paying for. So I was paying a premium for AI-written content that somehow was even worse than most AI content. Here's the real problem though... I had well over 70,000 words I pre-paid for, which in money terms is about $4,000 that they just STOLE from me! I paused my subscription because the terms said my words never expire. So naturally, I assumed I could come back and order content as needed - which I hadn't done in a while because the quality is terrible. Well, I logged into my account recently and saw that I had zero words in my balance. So I emailed Word Agents, assuming this was a simple glitch, and they said, "Well, they expired, and we tried to contact you." So I dug into my email, they sent one single email just before the words expired that went straight to my spam folder. They have all of my contact information, and purposely made zero real attempts to contact me. In short, I absolutely would stay away from this company. First of all, their quality is garbage. Their content is filled with information that is so wildly off-base, it's hard to imagine how they got there. We had to literally rewrite the last 40 or 50 posts that they sent to us - which is why I paused my subscription. And then on top of that, stealing $4,000 from me and not making an effort to contact me. It's just criminal, in my opinion, and the opinions of many, many other people. I will be leaving one-star reviews everywhere I can, including all social media platforms and Reddit. I've also purchased a program where I can track any mentions of wordagents. So when someone asks about them, I'll be notified immediately and I've set up an AI flow that will immediately comment letting them know that this company is a scam. They've ripped off far too many people, stolen hundreds of thousands of words and likely tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars from their clients doing the exact same thing they did to me. I hope we can all get together and sue this POS company - although something tells me they don't have the money to pay us back... My reply to wordagents: 1. Quality is abhorrent - look it up 2. It was so bad that we blacklisted multiple writers then it just became easier to write it ourselves rather than waiting another week for more garbage content. 3. Never notified about the expiration or, if I was, it certainly wasn't a real effort. Kind of like a single spam email telling me the credits are expiring (that I never received). 4. Regarding the article complaint back in May 2023 - it was my PM who messaged and yes, you had 38 articles that were over a month late and still not picked up by your writers. 5. Yes, I could have switched. But I had TONS (thousands of dollars) of content I already pre-paid for - so I paused the membership until a later date where I had hoped you guys would fix the terrible content quality and I could once again use your service to fulfill on the words I had already paid for. 6. Abusive language lol. I sent an email with the subject link: "WhereTF did my 71,000 words go???" - not very abusive in my opinion considering the fact that you literally stole from me. 7. You're proposed solution is that I re-subscribe and re-sign up for a new package, spending well over $1,000 per month in order to get some of my words back each month. SO...let me get this straight...you want me to pay you more money to get back what I already paid you for? And you think that's reasonable? 8. You accusing your old customers - people YOU wronged of being unwilling to accept responsibility for our actions is RICH! This coming from the guy that - changed policy in the middle of the night and alerting no-one, then sends one half baked spam email to say your credits are expiring, then does absolutely NOTHING to make it right - this is the guy saying we're irresponsible? Legally speaking, when I signed up, my contract said words never expire. You're contractually obligated to honor that promise. Subsequent notice of a change in this policy requires both clear notice and acceptance by clients to be enforceable. Forcing clients to pay a second time for credits already purchased could definitely be considered an unfair or deceptive business practice. Finally, you can keep saying it's the users, but we're all saying the same things - you stole thousands of dollars from all of us without reasonable notice or attempts to contact. NONE of us would have just let that amount of words and money go to zero. I'd have let you write over 70,000 words of crap I throw away before just giving up $4k. Maybe you should take responsibility and stop pointing at everyone else...
Scam, avoid at all costs
Like many others, I too have had my credits stolen from my account, and then told I could have them back by buying MORE credits. When I initially signed up, their terms and conditions explicitly stated your credits and account would never expire. Later they decided to change this, and enforce the change on all their customers, regardless of whether they actually agreed to the new terms or not. And no warning about the change either. Illegal and unethical. There's a lot of competition in the copywriting space, and I urge anyone on the hunt for an agency to AVOID these thieves like the plague. You can do far better.
New Owner is not Honoring the Old Owner's Scams
This is a response to my earlier post/experience to the alleged "new" owner's comment. It is effortless for the site owner to claim it is a new owner. First, users/writers have no way of corroborating that the owner has actually changed. Second, why do we care if there is a change? If you are the new owner, as the new owner acquiring a company, you should face the issues, business decisions, debts, etc., the "previous" owner had. If you didn't do proper due diligence, it's your fault, not ours. OWN YOUR MISTAKES! Cleaning up after the "old" owner is good business.
