Communication with Capio
Why is it so hard to cancel an appointment? Can't do it via 1177, only by calling and talking to a bot. Same goes for booking, can't do it online, instead talk to the bot and THEN someone from Capio will call you back. Unacceptable customer service.
You won't get proper tests, not to mention any treatment
Their only goal is to keep you away from the public healthcare system. They just take the visit fee, tell you that you have no problem and refuse to book any proper tests or treatment for you. Also, the waiting time is horrible, you get better and cannot reproduce testable symptoms by the time you get to the doctor. They refuse to help you prevent the problem from coming back. Next time the problem comes back twice as bad, but they give you a first appointment in more than a month. Completely unacceptable. There is no accessible public healthcare in Sweden. The government took our tax, then we get nothing back for it, only these useless "healthcare" providers and a booking system designed to keep people away.
Worst experience I ever had
Worst experience I ever had. I got diagnosed a long time ago and I’ve been taking medications, but since I moved to Stockholm recently I was looking for a specialist that could take care of me here regularly. If I would be a person without any experience I’m sure after my one visit there I would feel even worse than before. It should be illegal hiring people that are THAT unprofessional. Got asked the stupidest questions ever, while sitting there I was wondering if the specialist himself knows what he’s talking about. I felt judged the whole appointment, so it’s definitely not a place where I would feel safe sharing any of my problems. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Waste of time and money.
CAPIO ÖGON HELSINGBORG
My father received a letter from CAPIO ÖGON HELSINGBORG (see website for chief and management of the clinic) scheduling him for some checks. The letter outlined appointment details and associated costs, with a stipulation that if we failed to attend or cancel within 24 hours, we would be charged. We never initiated or requested this appointment. Moreover, Helsingborg is a two-hour drive from our residence. The tone of the letter was rather unwelcoming. When I attempted to decline the appointment, the only contact method available was an automated phone system. It's perplexing how the clinic perceives its patients. We deserve human interaction, especially when addressing health concerns, rather than being treated as mere numbers or being subjected to a rigid "comply or pay" system. I reached out to Capio's central office in Stockholm for assistance. Surprisingly, even their switchboard couldn't provide a direct line or email to the clinic. It seems there's no straightforward way to communicate with this clinic, even for internal staff. I inquired about a customer service department to address my concerns, but was informed none existed. The only option given was the same automated phone line for the clinic. Is this the standard of care and communication Capio offers, especially to elderly patients like my 87-year-old father? It's deeply concerning and disappointing.
I had an appointment and it got…
I had an appointment and it got canceled when I am there at the hospital. Very unprofessional and they deserve nothing but 1 star is the minimum otherwise I will go for -5000.
Just call them
Went to the website to find contact information. Which turns out is a chat service. After filling in form about my symptoms, when they started, how it looks, if I have fever, if I have preconditions, allergies to medicine, which diseases I had recently, etc ... I was helped by a nurse, who after 2 questions redirected me to another service. There a nurse didn't even ask a question. Just told me if it is not acute, just call the next day to get an appointment. Not sure I follow the logic of me filling in a form, describing my symptoms as good as possible, waiting for responses from two nurses, when it could have said on the website: "just call us". It's a waste of time.
We need to have option to sue these…
We need to have option to sue these "healthcare" providers. Under quotes as they don't do healthcare but tax draining and should be in jail. After answering billion questions to schedule the check for stomach, back, and neck pains, went there, paid 100SEK and waited for doctor who just pushed me a few times in the stomach and said oh it's nothing. I was told on Kry before this to get deeper analysis and blood test which I requested but doctor said we will schedule maybe for next week and left. Went to reception and asked to get info or some confirmation for it to happen and they just responded doctor will take care of it. As usual here nothing happened I still have issues and it's been couple of months since that promise.
