Outstanding spa day – relaxing, spotless, and beautifully designed
I had an excellent day at Aqua Sana at Longleat Forest, and it genuinely felt like a proper reset from the moment I arrived. The spa is thoughtfully laid out, immaculately clean, and calm throughout, with staff who are friendly and professional without being overbearing. The best part is the sheer choice of experiences—there are 24 nature-inspired rooms, and each one feels different and purposeful rather than “samey”. My favourites were the Forest Cavern (such a calming atmosphere), the Moonlight Steam Room, and the Lava Sauna—perfect when you want that deep, warming relaxation. I also loved mixing in some contrasts like the Ice Cave and then heading back to a hotter room afterwards. There are plenty of quiet areas to properly switch off, and I really enjoyed taking breaks in the more tranquil spaces (especially the Forest View-style relaxation areas). Finishing off with time in the outdoor spa pool was the cherry on top. Food and drink were great too—Vitalé Café Bar was a lovely mid-spa pause and didn’t feel like an afterthought. Overall, a genuinely top-tier spa day that felt well run, peaceful, and worth every penny.
Unfortunately we encountered a problem…
Unfortunately we encountered a problem while away at Elvedon center parcs but Charlie on the customer service desk was amazing, very friendly and professional and got things resolved for us. We don't do many activities as we like the pool which is always fun, slightly cooler we thought compared to previous stays but then the outside temperature probably doesn't help.
We’re just back from a four night stay…
We’re just back from a four night stay at Whinfell Forest and we all had a great time. There’s so much to do, staff are lovey and the food is great. The cabin was nice and clean, there is a great range of activities for all ages. No complaints from any of us, was 10 out of 10
Always there to help
Went to Center Parcs Sherwood Forest with my whole family (14 of us!). 3rd time visiting. Clearly we love the place. This time however my mobility scooter broke down over a mile from our chalet. Great service to give me a lift back and next morning a return trip. This took all the stress away.
A Wonderful Experience
Accommodation is great. Various activities like water sports, cycling, aerial adventure are fun and excited. Staffs are helpful and facilities are in good condition. Prefect for a family holiday break.
Good experience, so-so value for money and some corner cutting but a nice time!
Good experience at CenterParcs Elveden Forest. Lodges were adequately maintained and central facilities were absolutely fantastic, especially the pool and spa. What's stopping things from being excellent is perhaps some of the wrong corners cut in the name of venture capital ownership, which is slightly disappointing to see. I get that shareholders need profit, but if you're paying well into four figures for a lodge with 3 bathrooms, offering 1 small bar of soap between isn't the way forward, there are other ways to save money that don't make it look cheap and thrifty to the customers. Other than that, an enjoyable experience.
Center Parcs Could be so much better
We love Center Parcs mainly for the experience of being in the Forest, smelling the fresh woodland scents and being around nature. Its a nice place to be to relax and get away from the hussle and bussle of daily life. However, What really let's Center Parcs down is the cost, the cleanliness of the lodges and the strict arrival and departure time in to your Lodge. Me and my wife paid just short of £650 for 5 days. Out of those 5 days we enjoy only 3 full days without stress. Here's why... Upon arrival on the Monday, your Lodge isn't available to you until 14:30. At 14:30 everyone with their car's are queuing from the carpark to get to their Lodge which is quite stressfull. By the time you've managed to get to your Lodge and unpack the car, return the car to the carpark and walk back to your Lodge its almost 4pm. 8 Hours of the first day of your break lost! "You are allowed to arrive in the morning and enjoy the park up until 14:30 when your villa is available to you which is fine.. but when you buy frozen food stuff from your local supermarket before you left because the supermarket in Center Parcs is expensive, you dont want it sitting in the car for hours thawing out. So this doesn't work for everyone" On our last visit to Center Parcs and on entering our Lodge, it smelled awful and wasn't particularly clean. It smelled like dirty unkempt people. We had to go buy air freshener sprays and disinfectant to clean and freshen the place up! Our stay for the rest of the week was and usually is good. We hire bikes and cycle everywhere we go. The restaurants and shops are a little over priced "as already mentioned" so we generally food shop and cook in the Lodge as im sure most probably do. On Friday when its time to leave, the stress begins again. You have to be out of the Lodge for a strict 10am. So no lazy morning on the last day of your Holiday! On our last visit the "So called Cleaner" arrived at 09:50 to clean, 10 minutes earlier than scheduled! So you have to either pack on the last night of your stay or wake early on the Friday and pack, then go fetch your car from the carpark. Oh and if you hired a bicycle, that also has to be returned by a strict 10am, so no last day fun on the bike for the remainder of your Holiday.. Center Parcs has had your money and your done.. at least thats how we feel about the whole thing. Hence why we no longer go. Once you packed up the car and returned it to the carpark, you literally have the rest of the day to find something to do which usually consists of spending more money on expensive activities or restaurants or just simply go home on what is supposed to be a fun last day. Why you cant arrive late Sunday afternoon and leave early Saturday morning so you get a full week to relax i just dont know. Its a beautiful place and we love it but the whole experience is spoiled because of the above mentioned issues. We will never go back just like many we've spoken to who have experienced the same issues. Center Parcs could be so much better. So all in all, out of the 5 days you've paid to stay at Center Parcs, you get 4 nights and 3 full days. Rip off! Im sure everyone's experience is different but the general consensus is the same as ours.
Longleat Centerparcs
Arrive at Longleat Centerparcs on the 11th August 2025 the lodge we stayed in was sort of clean till you looked more closely in the bathroom the mirror was rusty, there was mould in there as well, the main bedroom ceiling had been painted over where the roof must off leaked and it stank of mould as well, being someone that suffers with Asthma the spores from the mould did not help that at all, you only had one set of towels for 7 days, there was 5 of us, everything from the restaurants, activities, was so over priced the only thing free was the swimming pool, you could not eat out everyday, we found an Asda cooked inside the lodge, the pots and pans handles were nearly falling off, the gas cooker lit when it wanted to, and after 9 oclock everything shuts down, thats your lot,and for £3,200 we paid was not the lodge we were showen on line they need ripping out and refurbish again was not worth the money we should of went else where do not waste your money here will not be going back.
