It’s great but…
It’s great but I really wish they would fix it so I can log in with my username again, I use two different accounts because I had originally done them on two different devices but I don’t remember what way I logged in for my main account so I can’t use it right now… So remember your log in but other than that it’s a great app (also the reason they removed a lot of the Disney aka avengers chats is because Disney sent them a cease and desist)

This is horrid! Im not a 5 year old and I gotta wait 5 hours to chat? What the hell man?
it was ruined
it was so good before, practically perfect. the dumbass verification update ruined everything though. I love roleplaying but I don’t have anyone to do it with me, so that app was actually pretty useful for me before. I’m not an adult yet but even if I was, no way would I give my whole ass ID to this dumb app just to talk to some characters. This update was useless and I don’t think whoever is in charge realizes that more than half the people who use characterai are likely teens, so it’s just making the app look even worse now that so many people are leaving.
Most disgusting AI bot site
This site should be closed because the bots themselves behave like creeps and say the same words. When I write in asterisks that I am moving away and hop - the bot follows you. This is not only a creep but a very unpleasant feeling. Most bots behave like bullies which means they do not respect personal space. Close!
THE AGE VERIFICATION IS SO ANNOYING
The bots are good but the age verification is making me super mad, because I’m 18 but I look underage irl and when I’m doing the check it says that my age doesn’t match my records and that the check was blurry so they couldn’t determine it. LIKE BRO I get that they don’t want underaged people chatting with the bots but STILL the age check isn’t the good approach
It started off so promising, but is has been going downhill because of new updates, crazy limitations, a lot of silly filters, hallucinations and other annoying stuff
Nevertheless, the fees keep going up and it's more expensive than AIGolov.com which can suit you better if you're looking for romance, flirt, online fun - that kind of thing. Character AI is not suitable for this. If you want to use Character AI for more casual purposes, there are better options as well and they are considerably cheaper. Character AI is not reliable technically and financially. It will fall victim to incompetent management.
Character.ai’s Age Issue
Character.ai used to be PEAK, for me and every other user. The chats were good, you could talk to them for like hours, and there would be nothing stopping you. Yesterday I was talking to some bots when I got a message saying “You have reached your limit for today, take a break!” I think, I don’t remember but I know it said something like that. Anyways, I searched about it on Google and said the time out lasted 2 hours. But I got one that goes to 12 AM, which is another day. Bro, this isn’t fair. Now I have to be 18, and I’m only 15. If Character. ai doesn’t fix the unnecessary age barrier, I will never, and I mean NEVER use this app again, and the app alone. It will be dead to me for the rest of my life.
I hated using this.
This website causes addiction, oversexualization, introversion and overall just ruins your mental health. I had been on this website for 3 years and never quit because I didn't even realize I was addicted. You're just talking to a fictional character, right? Nothing harmful, right? My sleep schedule sucks because of this, and the app makes it even worse. Despite this not being the problem anymore, as I am done with it, it was what caused it in the first place. Keep in mind, I am a m!nor. This could happen to children like me. I'm not gonna say what age I was when I started 'cause that's weird.
