Only FitX Neuss experience | Munich etc. was WAY better. The staff in this gym is inconsistent, hypocritical, and enforcing double-standard rules against certain people but not against others. Clearly racially motivated, extremely unprofessional. Absolutely unprofessional, raising their voice against customers. I don't judge, but some people might definitely call it pathetic. Avoid at all cost, trust me. Go to McFit across the street, better conditions like monthly cancellation and bette equipment. or into a nice gym like FitnessFirst if you want a first class gym, not a second class gym like this. Thanks for the entertainment though it was amusing. This gym is a joke.
Absolute joke
Absolute joke. They give you membership without any problems but when you want to cancel it they will refuse to do it, send depth collectors and harass you. Absolutely no customer care, just bunch of kids behind computers. Definitely will look for better gym.
Unpaid Probetag
They force you as part of application to work 6 hours for free as Probetag just to reject you after. I have nothing against Probetag,but not when you are left unpaied. It preety sucks.

I ordered the incorrect item on their vending machine for 20 eur. I asked management for a refund. They couldn't give me because they don't have access to their account. I left the product with the man at the desk. Very unhelpful. I want my refund.
I experienced unprofessional and discriminatory behavior at FitX
While moving plates between equipment during my workout, an employee accused me of not cleaning up, despite my explanation in English that I had just finished using them. The employee became hostile, insisted I should “speak German,” and even pretended to call the police when I hesitated to hand over my membership card. This treatment felt humiliating and discriminatory as a foreigner, especially since the gym itself was untidy, with plates left all over by others without similar confrontation. The situation was witnessed by other members who supported me, but there was no other gym staff at the moment, and the empoyee refused to call anyone else or provide help or a solution. I felt deeply disrespected and unwelcome.
Appalling Customer Service, Underhanded Practices, and Steep Price Hike
Update of Review March 30th, 2025 I don’t appreciate FitX replying here pretending that I am still able to use my free months after cancellation of my contract, when two different people working for FitX both informed me that this is no longer possible. The messages in German are copied below. December 20th, 2024 Hey, vielen Dank für deine Nachricht. Leider verjährt der Anspruch auf Freimonate aus der Corona-Zeit mit Ablauf des Jahres. Daher können wir dir nur noch eine Erstattung der entsprechenden Beiträge anbieten. Die Erstattung kannst du unter folgenden Kontaktformular beantragen: Zahlung > Beiträge während des Lockdowns. Wir hoffen, dass wir dir mit unserer Nachricht weiterhelfen konnten. Der Anspruch auf Rückerstattung der Lockdown-Beiträge ist nach §§ 195, 199 BGB bereits verjährt. Die Frist für das Einreichen eines Antrags auf Erstattung wäre hier der 31.12.2024 gewesen. Eine Nutzung als Freimonate ist ebenfalls nicht mehr möglich. Es tut uns leid, dir keine positivere Rückmeldung geben zu können. During the lockdown closures, this gym kept charging me every single month, never offering a fair solution for the time I was forced to stay away. By the time I realized I could ask for a refund, they told me the “deadline” had magically expired—despite never having notified me in the first place! It might be “legal,” but it’s downright unethical. The complete lack of communication, empathy, and fairness is shocking. As if that weren’t enough, they just increased the membership price by nearly a third for 2025. After nearly 10 years of being a member, I have cancelled my contract. FitX used to be an okay cheap option, but with the price increase and poor treatment of its loyal members, there is no reason anymore to go to this gym. If you’re looking for a fitness studio that actually cares about its members, respects them enough to keep them informed, and doesn’t pull price hikes, steer clear of this place.
