Fizz is great
Fizz is great. In Ontario, have been with fizz for over 2 years. The best thing about fizz is best experience while roaming in US. No dead zones in US.
Worth the headache
I just moved over to Fizz about 4 months ago and I have to say, the reception is great. I was with TELUS/Koodo before Fizz and the reception was terrible. Now with Fizz, I get reception everywhere! Yeah, customer service is the worst and their website never works. It’s actually infuriating but once I got everything set up, I have no reasons to contact them or go to my account…it’s been great. I’d say the cheap plans and wider range of service areas, are worth the headache.
Old outdated modem/router provided for 30mbps
Ok their mobile is good...great rates and works well...the problem is with the internet if youre interested in them for isp..and the old modem/router they provide for slower speed like 30mbps.The modem router provided is wifi 5. Wi-Fi 6 is generally more secure than older Wi-Fi standards because it includes support for WPA3, the latest and strongest security protocol. While older networks often rely on WPA2, which has some known vulnerabilities, WPA3 offers improved protection against attacks and better encryption..so basically they provide a piece of equiptment which is more then 5 years old and is less secure...so I would do a hard pass on fizz internet,,,they dont seem to care about security and providing you with old outdated less secure equipt ment is the norm
You get what you pay for
Can’t log into my account from my phone (iPhone 15). Voicemails not coming through… No support.
Not happy with my switch to Fizz at…
Not happy with my switch to Fizz at all. Customer service is all AI chat bots. If you request a human rep, they seen to go out of their way to be as unhelpful as possible. There's no customer service phone number, you have to use the chat bot. I signed up on the 1st of the month, as I get paid monthly and I often don't have the funds until the 1st. However they set my billing date a week sooner, stealing a week's worth of service from me right off the bat and making my reason for switching in the first place pointless. I'll be switching providers again soon.
AVOID fizz – HORRENDOUS SERVICE!
Don't waste your time, absolutely not worth it! All the positive reviews are likely by people who have referral bonuses and lots to gain from on-boarding innocent and unsuspecting victims. You will get dismal connection, if at all, no assistance from customer support, and no one to ensure you’re getting what you paid for. If you post any negative comments on their forum they will be promptly deleted, no waiting times there If stupidity and incompetence would have a baby, it would be named fizz. Yes, their staff is utterly incompetent, unprofessional, and probably instructed to do everything but to help you. That would usually mean play a show to convince you they are here to help you, but would deflect your concerns on the regular. They intentionally try to play dumb to persuade you to give up and not bother them when you let them know of the issues you’re facing. If you ask for a supervisor, like in my case for example, where the agent was blatantly wrong with their response, they will delay, and deflect and deny escalation, likely because there isn’t a supervisor to begin with! This is a ponzi scheme scam hoping to onboard as many people, hooking them up with low prices, but you’ll figure out very soon this is actually way costlier than if you went with a well established, reputable company. Their philosophy is you can help yourself by getting assistance from the others on the forum. Good luck with someone on the forum enabling the services that you have paid for… They are quick to take out any reviews that shed anything negative about them, but my complain is still “in progress” after more than a month! Don’t be tricked, not only you won’t be helped, you will essentially be left with inconsistent service and forum people telling you – you cannot ask for more for these cheap plans. How comforting… Here is my short summary of my excruciating journey with this ****hole. Initially, they accepted the photo of my payment card for verification purposes on the day I requested a new esim, and then right after the acceptance their system went down so I was told to contact them next day. God forbid they could email me the esim on their own, but no, I had to initiate a chat again, and mind you, they always close your session, regardless of whether the ticket is solved or not, so next chat session you will re-ittereate the whole story to the new agent from the start… I contacted them next day and submitted the same photo from yesterday. Guess what – it was not acceptable anymore. I went from being verified to unverified overnight by some magic powers God knows how they protect your information if they don’t even have internal procedures to follow. Next contact with customer service was because I accidentally found out that there are numbers that cannot reach me, and I cannot call as well (these were US numbers covered in my plan). So they asked me to tell them the specific numbers, and I had to provide at least 3 of them, for the agent to even consider this a problem… Really? Is it my job to try to find numbers that are not working after I accidentally find out I am without service for some numbers that should be working in my plan? I guess you have to be your own engineer to get a plan with this company because they are so competent they cannot evaluate their own system and screen when something is not working, but their customers need to tell them… Unbelievable! How am I suppose to know I am not reachable unless the party tells me!? Last straw was the interaction I had with their agent that goes by the name of Octavian, who I contacted after finding out I cannot send text messages to an EU country. As per his explanation, the country is excluded since my plan covers only Canada and USA. Then I told the agent that I have been actually sending and receiving messages with relatives in both Australia and Netherlands, and both of these individuals are currently physically residing in and using mobile services from those countries. This essentially means that I am able to send text messages to countries outside of Canada and US. The agent asked me for the Australian number and came back saying that +614 is not Australia but Ohio! Goodness gracious go figure out this retard. His literal answer – "check Google, the code is for Ohio – there are no issues on our end to resolve." I guess I’ll be happy go lucky fizzy who has made an imaginary friend in Ohio and conversed back and forth for over a month with what I though was my relative in Sydney… As for the other relative in Netherlands, with dialing code +316, I guess I’ve earned a bonus friend from Kansas… Just simply avoid, don’t get scammed.

Five finger discount as a company
After several hours trying to set up a new account I told the agent to cancel my account. My concern was this was a predatory company. *4 months later I found out I was being billed all along. After 2 more hours a manager agreed this was their mistake - so offered to pay 1/2.. ..so, acknowledging their mistake they decided to steal 1/2 of what they owed me.
