I had a great time doing my 2 week work placement with them. I worked with some nice people who were always willing to help.
Giving a little everyday…
I did a 6month internship with Givey which ended January this year and it was the best thing I ever did. Not only is Neil a phenomenal founder but also a wonderful mentor who genuinely cares about the team and the many charities he's supporting. The team I worked with we're so creatively talented and extremely passionate about their work and elevating the space to cater to small charities. I continue to support the community to this day and would encourage anyone to to do the same whether is offering donations or offering your services to help them reach more small charities in need.
More than just a Donations platform
Givey is more than just a donations platform. It is a community. Providing help, support, advice and encouragement; not only to the multitude of small and often overlooked charities that use its platform. But also to those who work for Givey in any capacity. Everyone at Givey genuinely cares about the charities that use its platform. They want to understand the needs of the communities you support so they can better support you. If you are looking for a donations platform to support your small charity. A digital cheerleader to be as passionate about your cause as you are - then Givey is the best place to find that. I cannot reccomend them enough and it has been a pleasure to work with everyone at Givey.

Killin and District Volunteer Car Scheme Transport Desert
Killin and District Volunteer Car Scheme received a suggestion and invitation to complete a podcast about ourselves and what and why we help our local communities with Transport problems. Around Killin, which is also replicated throughout remote communities in the four nations. We felt it important to flag up alongside our own experiences, the inequalities small communities suffer from in terms of services as opposed to larger towns and villages. With the help of Givey staff, especially Ruby, we have put together a podcast about the "Transport Desert" in remote areas and thank them for all the hard work and effort to support us.
Amazing platform for small charities
Givey is an amazing platform for small charities and organisations. All the people behind Givey really care about their work and do everything they can to support small charities, local communities and fundraisers. They are very passionate about their causes and offer many free community driven resources to all their members. I would definitely recommend this platform to all the small charities and fundraisers wanting to raise funds for their causes.

Take 5% on top of donations in fees which is pretty greedy. BT My Donate is free / Virgin Giving is better value. Don't know why fundraisers use this platform...
Not for profit? I don't think so.
When I tried to pay several hundred pounds donated by attendees at our charity events over Christmas to our local foodbank I was faced with a substantial 5% fee, which was not optional. Clearly I had no authorisation to pay this extra amount, and have therefore had to resort to an old-fashioned cheque - inefficient for us and for the foodbank. Surely over a certain amount - say £100 - a simple flat-rate fee should be payable, not a percentage. Processing costs the same whatever the donation, so how can you call yourselves a not-for-profit platform?
