Mozilla's estimated revenue for 2024 is $450.86M.

What does Mozilla do?

A lot of companies say they're "mission-driven." Our unique corporate structure guarantees that every decision we make upholds our mission: to ensure the internet remains open and accessible. Beholden to neither shareholders nor investors, Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the not-for-profit Mozilla Foundation. Along with our communities of 20,000+ contributors and collaborators, Mozilla Corporation's staff designs, builds, and distributes software that allows people to enjoy the internet on their own terms. Our flagship product — the Firefox browser — has expanded into a family of products that protects users and alerts them of risks, safeguards passwords and provides a secure VPN (with more to come). By maintaining a safe, open internet we're helping humanity, while also helping the individual humans employed here to reach their personal and professional goals. With a relatively small team serving hundreds of millions of people, a culture of exploration, and a commitment to mentorship, opportunities abound to learn and grow at Mozilla.

It Went From Mozilla to Mobzilla

Reviewed on 2021-03-28T18:54:20

There is a reason why I don't frequently call it Mozilla anymore. A reason why I call it Mobzilla is because the leftist mob controls Mobzilla now.Mobzilla's leftist cult fired a former employee because they supported a person who was unsupportive of same-sex marriage. Firefox mobile's newest version has become anti-privacy and drastically dumbed down. Users can no longer use "about:config" on Firefox mobile's newest version. Which is why some users downgraded to older Firefox mobile versions. Big tech being controlled by elitist terrorists causing censorship and anti-privacy have deeply influenced Mobzilla through monetary bribery. So, Mobzilla is no longer about human rights and online privacy. Constant pop-ups telling me to update Firefox on my computer is annoyingly vicious rather than friendly. It tells me that Mobzilla doesn't care about users and customers compared to money. Ever since it started to become more like Chrome, a browser created by Google owned by the American government controlled with rich and powerful terrorists that cause oil wars in middle eastern countries, I stopped taking Firefox seriously. My disappointment with this company has caused me to use another internet browser. Just that makes me worried about the future in regards to human rights and online privacy. Which is why I will never trust Mobzilla again. And I won't reply to that company's employees nor employers because they're clearly sellouts.

Mozilla: A wolf in sheep's clothing

Reviewed on 2021-01-11T04:49:14

I have been a huge supporter of Firefox since the early days. i've recommended it to friends and wasproud of the stance they took on internet privacy and against internet freedom. or so i thought. as i watch my country crumble around me via out of control big tech companies and others with their misinformation and censorship of the truth, i run across this highly upsetting article that tells me one of the few companies i always thought i could trust is nothing but another tyranny loving fake who has also sold their soul to the darkside. the article i'm referencing is titled "Mozilla, developers of Firefox: 'We need more than deplatforming'" by thepostmillennial I refuse to support Mozilla any longer. i will not recommend, in fact i will take a strong stand against them from here on out. i have moved over to Dissenter browser who is taking a strong stand on freedom and freedom of speech. If you love America, i suggest you do the same. enjoy your one star since its the least i can give.

Good browser, but it used to be great.

Reviewed on 2020-11-21T20:52:30

Mozilla Firefox has always been my go to browser. However Mozilla is doing it's best to alienate userslike myself who have used it faithfully since it came onto the scene. When it brought out Quantum, we old time users lost a lot of useful plug-ins. Some have never returned, others have been replaced with a similar function but there are many that I have used that are simply not available. Then there are the silly changes like adding and extra click to close multiple tabs. What was a nice quick click two clicks now takes three. I still use it, but I am less satisfied with it than I used to be. It still has some good features and is excellent with privacy issues etc. But I have found myself using Waterfox and Palemoon (both FF derivatives, modern and old style respectively, as well as Opera, more frequently when previously I would use FF and Opera (prior to Opera changing from a really clever browser to a chrome clone with less original ideas than the original). So it's still a good browser, but it's not as good as it used to be and there are a lot of changes for changes sake. I hate not being able to archive a web site page in MAFF format. That's great because one can extract files from it if needed. Also MHT files were a good option to save a web page so it could be returned to off line for instance. Great to save a page of instructions or such the line. The new save is nowhere near as good so I use Palemoon which still has those plug-ins. Having tabs above the address line is a pain in the backside, and I hate the combined search and address being the default so I always have to go and customise it. So whilst it still has many good points, it can no longer cater for all my browsing needs. That's a shame, That said, the company does it's best to ensure privacy matters, which is probably the only reason I still use Firefox at all. So good company, some duff decisions and haven't really listened to users who have complained about some of the changes it has made to Firefox.
