Home wifi error.

I upgraded my MTN home internet and since then I've been dealing with one issue or the other, I've tried to get them to send someone to check it out but there is always some sort of delays with the schedule

Mobile network not available

I recently migrated to MTN from Vodacom via porting. Since then I am unable to make phone calls at all. The message I get is: "Mobile network not available". Emailed customer care and they said it would be fixed between 2- 24Hrs. It's still the same issue. It's been 5 days and no help from MTN.

Cross-border FRAUD Alert : 432.80 Claim-Security Failure.

International Fraud & Corporate Negligence - $432.80 Claim Unresolved Rating:⭐ (1/5) I am reporting a severe case of cross-border fraud involving @AirtelRC and @MTNCameroon. On January 7th, my commercial capital of $250.30 was stolen through their networks due to critical KYC (Know Your Customer) security failures. Despite providing the names of the accomplices in DRC and a formal case file with ANTIC (Cameroon), both companies have ignored my claims. They are hiding behind automated bots (ZIGI) while my business is paralyzed. My current claim, including loss of business income, stands at $432.80. My LinkedIn updates regarding this negligence have already reached over 4,000 professionals. Do not trust these platforms for business transactions until they take responsibility for security breaches and refund stolen funds. I will continue to update this case daily on all international platforms until full restitution is made."

Greetings 13 Jan 2026 at 18:01 MTN – Ongoing Failure to Deliver Paid Service | Consumer Rights Breach We have had no proper router coverage since December 2025. MTN continues to debit us monthly for a service that is NOT being delivered. We have logged multiple complaints, yet MTN simply issues reference numbers and falsely closes them as “successful” without resolving anything. This is misrepresentation and an unfair business practice. Yesterday we spoke to two agents. Today we called again ans spoke to Indiphile and Qaqamba. Still no fix. The same meaningless instructions; restart, reboot, reset, while the problem continues. Today’s reference number: 1-**********6 (linked to our account). Despite repeated requests, no callbacks. We are also forced to use our own airtime to follow up on MTN’s failure. Under basic consumer law, customers are entitled to get what they pay for. Charging for a non-functional service is unlawful, unreasonable, and unacceptable. MTN must provide a clear resolution plan within 24 hours, apply billing credits/reimbursement, or this matter will be escalated to ICASA and the Consumer Ombudsman

The worst I have experienced. It is unfortunate that I had to set the date I expected this. there should be an option for duration of experience. I would have selected Always and forever

No assistance to cancel contract

Shop will not assist with cancellation. Phoned and selected the correct menu items and the person said that I need to phone and select "4" which I already did. Phoned again and the phone was put down in my ear.
