Positive review of Peapod, driver and delivery
Oh, Ryan Daron delivered my Peapod delivery yesterday, May 2, and did an excellent job. He was considerate, gave me information that I needed, and was an overall caring individual. He also informed me about a dozen of broken eggs and that he would credit my account and he did so. I think he should get a raise. Excellent employee and driver.
All positive experiences
We’ve had all positive experiences with Peapod. Sometimes items have been out of stock throughout Covid, but that is to be expected. Deliveries always come when scheduled and drivers are extremely friendly.
Great experience
I've only used them once, and the delivery was yesterday. The delivery guy did it "contactless" so he unloaded everything right at the door of my apartment, and left. Very competitive prices, and outstanding selection/quality/etc. No complaints at all.
When I lived in Chicago
When I lived in Chicago, I used their service all the time and I never had a situation where they were out of a product I really like their easy to use website where it remembers past purchases and you can add things to your favorites which made it easy to reorder. I've used them several times now in Milwaukee and they still have great professional delivery personnel - the only time I missed a delivery is when I had a new phone turned on off by mistake. :) Now I'm stuck with Instacart and Shipt, which are not high rated on Trustpilot. Peapod is a couple of dollars more for delivery but its's better than the instacart people who tell me I need to come get what they delivered - Apparently they don't understand door to door delivery. Personally, I order so I don't have to shop, while the other grocers text me anxiously saying they are out of something - making me anxious in the whole process!
PeaPod delivers groceries!
PeaPod delivers groceries when you want. You make the delivery decision by choosing open times. First you sign up for the service. Then, through an online catalog, you choose you food buys for that week. In addition to food, you will find everything that you buy in any standard grocery store (ie: toilet paper, pledge, horseradish, etc). Delivery is quick and pleasant. Drivers are great - never met an unfriendly one. Product is replaced immediately if there is a problem. I gave this Company 5 stars because it is a five-star Establishment.
Excellent and trustworthy grocery…
Excellent and trustworthy grocery delivery service. Provides almost all the foods you need, and delivers in a professional manner. Everything comes in perfect condition, the delivery drivers have been on time, and it saves me time through the past orders. Easy to use site, and service. Would highly recommend Peapod for grocery deliveries to anyone. It's the best one I've used for delivery!
Always had stellar experience pre-COVID19 but now it's a huge hassle
Always had stellar experience ordering from them pre COVID19 - timely, swift, professional. Now, the COVID19 process is quite difficult - nearly impossible to get a delivery slot, have to place order to confirm slot (which I didn't realize until I lost my slot), and no good way to contact support if there are problems (like not receiving a third of your items that were billed). FORTUNATELY, after 2 weeks of constant calls and emails into nothingness, I FINALLY got a hold of an actual person (after 1 hr 45m hold) and SHE WAS GREAT. She tried to find my missing items and have them redelivered (of course there were no slots available) so she refunded my money and gave a generous credit for next order. She also advised how best to reach support and was very empathetic of the situation. I was ready to write them off but the rep restored my faith in Peapod enough to try them again in our current situation.
It's been a mix
It's been a mix. Sometimes, we get amazing shoppers who do a great job--especially in the intense waves of the pandemic. Lately though, I don't know--it hasn't been devastating but we just seem to get lazy shoppers now who cut corners and bring back weird things--wrong sizes happening a lot. I just want cheap whole milk but we got two organic, half-gallon, glass jugs of milk instead for twice the price. I have kind of enjoyed just going back to the stores myself lately.
