they dont have a clue
been in contact with this company for about a year now with regards to releasing money from my pension . after giving the advisor all the details they requested , i was told i would have paperwork in 2 weeks , that was on the 4th of july i phoned a couple of times in august and again this month and not one of them had a clue about anything . using them was a mistake. i got a call the next day from a very apologetic man , sorry forgot your name , i was assured things would move speedily along now . a change of review because of this nice chap , thank you . 5 stars for you .

The only thing that needs improving is consistency in the Customer Service Representative, you get different information each time you call. Plus you told different information and timescales my case has taken 4 months and told I might have to wait another 10 days before my tax free lump sum will be paid but was told it would only take two days.

Cowboys and Charlatans
I have struggled for years with this most unprofessional of companies. I have just learned that the FCFS has upheld my claim against this outfit, with legal assistance. I have obtained some compensation. I have not received all of the fund. They lost ALL of the money invested in my future pension. The compensation I receive will be short £44k (approx.) of what I had invested, and counted on for retirement. Then of course there are the legal fees to be subtracted, from the award. I hope they get what they deserve! I hope the FCFS, can bring a claim against the directors. Search on Google for Portafina Liquidation!

This company and its co conspiracies are the Biggest joke in the this industry customer service-10 I will send you a email that never arrived you phone them and they have closed the phone lines because of staff shortages what a load of rubbish when you get to speak to someone they haven’t got a clue poor customer service all round find a better company is my advice not a professional service to the consumer no morals no professional accountability

I must put to pen the travesty I have endured, the reprehensible actions of a company by the name of Portofina, a pension handler with scant regard for the very people it purports to serve. As the saying goes, hindsight is 20/20. How I wish the World Wide Web had been a part of our daily lives when I was entrusting my hard-earned savings to this nefarious firm. Oh, how I wish Trustpilot existed, shining a beacon of truth on their web of deception! Make no mistake, Portofina is a wolf in sheep's clothing. They'll utilize every trick, every loophole, every smokescreen at their disposal to avoid paying out the pensions people have sweated blood and tears for over the course of their working lives. It's an act of blatant thievery, a callous theft of trust, and an assault on the dreams of countless working individuals. And so, I am making a solemn vow here. Every day that passes will see a new review, a new exposure of Portofina's abhorrent practices. I will write to as many review sites as possible, on as many platforms as I can access. I will ensure their true face is laid bare for all to see. Moreover, I have initiated a conversation with the Pension Regulator, a steadfast ally in my fight against Portofina's egregious actions. This company, so badly managed, so bereft of ethics, needs to be held accountable for their actions. I hope this course of action will force them to reconsider their detestable practices. If there's one piece of advice I could give to anyone considering entrusting their hard-earned money to Portofina: Don't. Just don't. There are more trustworthy, more ethical companies out there. Do not make the same mistake I did. Portofina, know this: Your actions have consequences. The fight is far from over. Even though you are regularly assured that your call is important to them the service would be vastly improved if they employed somebody to answer the phone. Mypension transfer deadline was missed…
Mypension transfer deadline was missed , I launched an internal complaint and the findings were totally biased towards them effectively blaming me .They missed out any information concerning themselves and conflicting dates as I have a separate timeline of events given by them and they don't correspond.They also failed to mention the time wasted getting a bank statement from me for contingency payment use !This process was banned by the fca in 2020 except under very specific circumstances.
