This has been resolved!!! no longer are They are currently ghosting me

They are currently ghosting me, after double-charging for a rental car that I need to go to my dying mother's side; and consequently staying for her memorial service. I could not be more disappointed. UPDATE - this has been resolved to my satisfaction! Redtag has refunded the second charge - thank you RedTag!

Hello I would just like to recognize…a travel agent at Red Tag

Hello I would just like to recognize wonderful Rhonda (ext.25868). She was the best agent I've ever had to deal with. She was helpful, pleasant, knowledgeable and always went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable with any decisions I was making. Hire more staff like Rhonda and people will definitely use Red Tag!

As 2 senior couples we wanted to book…

As 2 senior couples we wanted to book an all inclusive vacation to Mexico. We started on the website but encountered several issues that instructed us to call the call centre. We called and although the wait was fairly lengthy it was well worth the wait. We spoke with Cherie (who was awesome) and she worked through the process of booking travel for 2 couples that wanted to travel together. Cherie took her time and was able to make the process clear, concise and easy. She was super friendly and made sure that everything was done correctly. We are so glad that we called because Cherie was able to do things that we couldn’t do on the website. She spent almost an hour working with us to get our vacation planned. I would definitely recommend calling over using the website. Thanks Cherie for your help and making the process super smooth.

Awful. Save yourself. First

First, we called them to help with booking our vacation because we had different dates of travel and stay in 2 cities. However, the agent was rude and not helpful at all. She asked for our budget, destination, dates of travel, birthdates of the travellers and I provided her with all that she asked for. She called back two minutes later saying she can’t help with the booking because I didn’t provide her with enough info. We then booked a trip online and used their payment plan affiliated with flex pay to pay for the trip upfront. While the loan did go through, the booking was declined on their website. After repeatedly calling the customer support on redtag to get a solution, their agents were rude, non responsive, unwilling to help and never got back to us till we called back to ask. When finally we got through to them, they said the booking was declined due to reasons unknown to them but we wouldn’t have to pay the flex pay loan amount because it wasn’t used. Despite that, we reached out to flex pay and they informed us that redtag did withdraw the loan amount and we should call them and straighten it out. The redtag agent we got in touch took forever to get the details to our account and remained unhelpful saying let me check and I’ll get back to you. We are still waiting for a call to sort out this issue. Do yourselves a favour, don’t use redtag to make your booking. They are awful.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. Even one star is too much. Absolutely horrible customer service. I booked a vacation to Cuba through RedTag. My flight from Vancouver to Toronto was cancelled, and I was supposed to continue from Toronto to Varadero. It was Sunday, and neither RedTag, Air Canada, nor Air Canada Vacations informed me that my flight had been cancelled. I only found out myself at the airport. I had to arrange and pay for a new flight out of my own pocket because I could not reach anyone from Air Canada Vacations or RedTag. Staff at the airport told me I would have to deal with the companies later for reimbursement. As a result, I arrived one day late to my vacation. Nobody refunded me for the lost vacation day, the extra flight, or the hotel costs. Later, when I finally managed to contact Air Canada Vacations/RedTag on Monday, they assured me there would be a shuttle waiting for me at the airport in Cuba to take me to the hotel. Of course, nobody was there. I had to pay another $40 for a taxi, and nobody reimbursed that either. I kept all my receipts and tried to resolve everything afterward, but RedTag blamed Air Canada Vacations, Air Canada Vacations blamed Air Canada, and nobody actually helped me. What was supposed to be a “cheap vacation” ended up costing me far more for service that was absolutely not worth it. The hotel was terrible, the whole vacation was disappointing, and the customer support was beyond useless. I would never book through RedTag again. The whole experience felt like a scam.

Double and triple check documents

I, along with 2 other parties booked a trip today to Cancun and selected swim out rooms. We checked out and paid for our rooms, mine was $24 cheaper - i didn't think anything of it as online prices always change. When we arrived at the hotel to check in, I was shocked to hear them say my room was an ocean view, not a swim out room. I pulled up my confirmation and low and behold, it was an ocean view. That was not what i selected and had to pay an extra $252USD for the room. The front desk staff told me they have seen this in the past where booking sites glitch. I contacted RedTag and got no where. I will admit I made an error by not checking my documents but how did my companions get what we booked? We paid the same and we booked at the same time and somehow I ended up with a room i didn't pay for. Be very careful, take screen shots, whatever you have to do - they will make the switch and not give a customer a second thought. I know what i saw on my screen. I double checked it and even had my daughter see what was at checkout only to have a computer glitch cost me a lot of money and customer NOT support not own up to this glitch. I have used Red Tag to book flights with SunWing and now West Jet for many years and they have lost a customer due to this. I will also be loud to anyone i know and tell them not to give this company a penny of their hard earned money.

IT'S A CULT!

Worst Customer Service ever, its like they are all in a cult avoiding customer complaints this includes Sue, Carla, Christine its a joke. Don't bother calling them if you have an issue they all tag team and avoid you like the plague. This also includes management.
