Absolutely appalling customer service in Italy. I bought a perfume for around €100 in a store in Rome,I arrive home and open the box and realise it is the WRONG item that was shown to me in the store. I go to the store with the box, receipt and original bag and they refused to exchange it as the BOX HAS BEEN OPENED AND THE ITEM IS USED. I sprayed it once. I had to obviously open to realise it was the wrong product!?!? I can't see through the box or smell the perfume unless I open it and use it. They did not allow me to return and even were suspicious of me returning it opened. Sephora has lost a customer for life. I will never be buying anything from here again. I am also ashamed of Italian customer service. One of the worst I have ever experienced. Disgusting.

They deliver delicate items in an oversized box with no protection. When I complained they offered to replace it but I have to go to the post office to send back their damaged item.Too much of a hassle. Next time I will just go to Ulta! Thanks but no thanks Sephora!

I have been a customer of Sephora online store for at least 10 years and I spend at least 800.00 to 1500.00 a year.I purchase mostly when they are offering 20% off but the delivery service is the worst it takes forever for my packages to arrive and sometimes they don't arrive at all but Sephora no longer wants to reimburse me for orders that I don't receive. They use to be a good company but they have really gone downhill with all their new rules and regulations and their delivery service is worst then ever.

I’m giving one star because every time I place an order, I have to think twice. Why?Because the order never comes on time. You also choose what samples you want and they send you something else. Ridiculous.

I order online and have a rewards account. They carry some items that normally can only be found in Macy's,so if one is out I go to the other. I enjoy their store brands and the gifts on my birthday! Their website interface is very user friendly and they have great sales. Any store I've been inside was always clean and I was promptly greeted or led around to find exactly what I was looking for. I've been to sephora outlet stores all over the United States and every single one I visited was set up nicely and staff were so so helpful! I feel sad anyone had bad experiences shopping or working for the company. I've only ever seen happy employees and awesome products. Not every product I've purchased was perfect, and I was offered refunds or exchanges. That is the idea for cosmetics, you try until you find what works for your skin and style currently.
