Terrible company. Charged for luggage we didn't have, just because we asked about it!

Terrible company. We called up to enquire about taking extra luggage. It was very expensive (350THB per kg)so we didn't go ahead, and we sent it with Kerry Express instead. When we arrived at the check-in desk they insisted we pay for the extra luggage that we'd asked about by phone! We explained that we didn't go ahead with that, and sent it by Kerry Express instead but they wouldn't let us check in without paying. I've never heard of a company charging you for something just because you enquired about it!?! Exactly the same thing happened to another family at the ticket counter next to us too. So this isn't a one-off. The staff were rude and completely unaccomodating. If you have an option to take *any* other airline - take it!

Was late from Phuket to Bangkok and now delayed from Phuket to Bangkok the flight was 9:40 delay to11:20 it is like they didn’t have enough passenger and decided to moved all passengers to the next flight. Every time something always wrong when flying with them. Never again staff doesn’t give a .... no apologies pretend that every is ok!! Freaking not there is a reason I book the flight at that time.

Just horrible. I booked ticket online, it's clearly mentioned that luggage is included.At check in desk they start to say that I need to pay. All staff was extremely rude, didn't want to help or give any explanation, just pay. They can't speak English clearly and laughed all the time. During the flight passengers removed the masks, the man behind me was sneezing without mask. This airline don't follow local rules and laws to prevent covid.

Absolutely scam airline, they forced me to pay 1031 baht for so called 4 extra kg on my backpack,they wouldnt let me take it in the cabin, they insisted I have to pay the extra fee which I never paid before with any airline as my backpack is a 45L one which feets the standard size for cabin storage. My flight was from Bangkok to Krabi, note that 4 months ago I took that exact same flight with the same airline and Vietjet didnt charge me that outrageous 1031 baht fee at that time, looks like this airline is in desperate need of funds so they take it on their customers and scam them just to not get bankrupt, well, farewell, I will never fly with them again.

This airline made me delayed for a flight due to a mistake on their part and it caused me to miss myconnecting flight with their airline and they wouldn't help me in anyway and only offered me a way over priced ticket for a later flight and no compensation even though it was their own fault, they then pretty much told me to get lost in bangkok airport and just ignored me! Well Vietjet what goes around comes around and Covid has certainly screwed you!! so UNLUCKY AND GOOD LUCK WITH BANKRUPTCY!!! your airline sucks!!! and judging by the reviews a lot agree!!! ha

Delays are common with this company. After having my flight delayed 1.5h and have gone through the check in,at the boarding gate, some stuff members were randomly picking customers are weighting their luggage. Many many times other airlines have been very flexible if the weight only exceeds a bit. My luggage was one kilo more than allowed (8kg) and they made me pay 22 usd upon boarding. I’ve been flying for many years and this is the first time I see a company doing this. If you can choose another airline, please do! Vietjet is famous for its terrible service.

My friend booked my flight under my married name, not realising only passport still uses my maiden name and we had huge hassle trying to change it.The airline didn’t respond to emails and the phone number never connected after several attempts. We arrived early to the airport expecting a fee for the name change but instead were ordered to buy a new ticket and new luggage since my checked luggage was under the original booking. Total almost 2000 Baht which was completely unnecessary and caused ridiculous stress. The check in counter attendants wore Christmas hats but boy did they lack any Christmas courtesy let alone any customer service skills. They were rude and had one answer for everything...”no can, company policy”. My friend also had tried to pre pay checked luggage and was unsuccessful in her attempt. On the day, they charged her 1100 B for 1 case which is ludicrous. Clearly this airline is struggling financially but I can tell you, it won’t be around in a year’s time. Poor customer service and poor policies.
