Wanted to send a massive thanks and big…
Wanted to send a massive thanks and big up to Thurlo at the Hout Bay branch of Vodacom. I’ve had to go in a couple of times now and he always offers a really efficient service with a smile - going out of his way to ensure that my phone is working properly. Man deserves a raise!

No real people available
Why can't I get through to a real person at Vodacom? Tobi is utterly useless and must be scrapped. My issue resolved itself before I was able to get anywhere with Vodacom. Vodacom, please put a huge red arrow on the envelope containing a new SIM card. Yes, I thought the envelope was empty(dumb,I know) but really, it shouldn't be that hard to find a SIM..: - )
I took a contract with Vodacom fibre on…
I took a contract with Vodacom fibre on November 2025. It needed to be activated from January 2026.it was activated on the 02 January 2026. From the 12th January 2026 my internet is not working. I have been calling the customer care call center speaking to various agents. No one can assist. They say they cannot pick up the router on the line. I have emails to say the fibre line is active and vodacom says I must plug in my router. Nothing happens. When I call the customer care line they say they don't know what to say? Please do not take fibre contracts out with vodacom. They are scamers
Vodacome is issuing old mobile numbers…
Vodacome is issuing old mobile numbers to early! I am fed up with all whats ups about payments not made by the former owner of my number. Also calls from his/ hers bank and friends. This is harassement made possible by Vodacome.
Complaint Regarding Unresolved Account Suspension Despite Full Payment
I paid my account in full on 19 December 2025, yet my phone was suspended. I called Vodacom on the 19th, and they advised me to call back the next day as the update might reflect then. On 20 December, I called again, but was told the same thing. On 22 December 2025, I called once more and was advised that the matter was still with TSL Legal and that I should contact them. I then called TSL Legal three times, but they said the matter was with Vodacom. When I called Vodacom twice, they insisted it was with TSL Legal. Each party accused the other of lying. On 29 December 2025, I called Vodacom five times, and each time they said it was with TSL Legal. I then called TSL Legal six times, and they said it was with Vodacom. On 30 December, I tried again, but received the same conflicting responses. On 7 January 2026, I contacted both Vodacom and TSL Legal again, but the same back-and-forth continued. On that day, I also sent my proof of payment to Vodacom’s accounts department, as advised by one of their operators. Today, 12 January 2026, I called Vodacom again, and they repeated that TSL Legal was lying. It has now been far longer than the promised 1–3 working days or even 7–14 working days since 19 December, yet my phone remains locked. This situation is unacceptable.
Probably the worst service company I’ve…
Probably the worst service company I’ve dealt with in all my life. I’d really like an opportunity to speak to the app developers - it is the most un-usable app I’ve ever downloaded (close tie with the standard bank app). The cost of data is outrageous- comparative to living in London, data is cheaper in Europe / England than is it in South Africa. South African are being grossly ripped off by Vodacom. The standard of service that this company provides is disgusting. Vodacom set their customers up to be ripped off, and taken advantage of.
