First time applicant

First time applicant, went through in seconds, everything set up, payments taken out on time, I would recommend this, as mine went through without a problem. Will definitely use again

I recently applied for finance for a…

I recently applied for finance for a ring and it was approved within 5 minutes. The application is straightforward and user friendly, its also very clear who your lender is and you are connected with them straight away. There are a few comments about being rejected credit but that isn't divido that's the lenders decision so slightly unfair to mark them down for that. I would use them again and think they offer customers a great way to finance as they have a panel of lenders so if doesnt approve it will be passed around until it is only resulting in 1 credit search which I personally think is great

Can’t find any contact details anywhere for the company- all I want to do is pay off the outstanding balance - proving impossible!

Spam/harassing communications

In January I purchased a boiler through BOXT. And I stress the word PURCHASED because paid in full, I never requested any finance at any stage. Since the day after, I have been constantly receiving emails and texts from Divido, asking me to 'complete the application for your finance purchase'. None of these emails or texts can be replied to in order to request them to stop. Divido should not even have my contact information as I never made a finance enquiry.

Far from seemless

Application took over twelve hours to accept despite being told that in most cases I should receive a decision in twenty minutes. The consumerist worded email also had the nerve to say I should wait around the store till application has been accepted. Once application was accepted and deposit money taken I was displayed a technical difficulty and never able to proceed 'contract generating' continuously. Overall a very painful experience.

You can have the best credit score

You can have the best credit score, never missed a payment in your life and yet just for a £900 credit you will be refused which result in affecting your credit score. When you see divido as an option to finance your purchase avoid it by all means.

Applied for shower update to Aqualisa and would like to use 0% credit -- they use DIVIDO and i was refused, no reason given. Computers rule -- even when your house is mortgage free.! see why they don't admit to a phone number. One star seems too much. John

You had one job...

In their replies to other reviews, Divido likes to make it very clear that they are not the lender and merely facilitate the agreement with a lender via their IT solution. You would think, then, that only having this one job, they might actually be able to provide an IT solution that works. So far, I have had a blank white screen, a gateway error, and finally, when I eventually managed to get through to the agreement, I tick the box to sign it, and the page just hangs for a minute and then asks me to sign the same agreement again. Oh, and if you call Divido to try to sort this out, you get two options on their automated helpline - one is for merchants (not customers), and the other option tells you to call the lender. There is no option to help customers who are stuck with Divido's broken IT infrastructure. I finally got the application to go through, but only by ticking the box accepting all marketing communication from Divido. I guess I'll now have to try and cancel all the marketing communication separately...
