love this shop
love this shop. you can buy quality or not so great quality, the price reflects this. great shop, keep up the good work and the great prices!
Our experience was fine
Our experience was fine. I ordered, received an email later with a tracking link that did not work. Then I contacted their customer service which responded quickly sending me a link that worked. Only thing was that the m time for delivery was really long; it took 7 workdays until the parcel arrived but the description said 5-6 days - so I guess that was close enough.
Good selection, but delivery delays
Jula has a wide variety of tools and home goods at decent prices. Ordering online was easy, but delivery took longer than expected and tracking was limited. Still a useful store if you're not in a rush.
Good gear, poor support
Found some decent tools at good prices, but support left me hanging. Delivery was late and returns were a nightmare. The products have potential, but the overall experience? Not worth the hassle
Jula - Not living up to customer expectations.
Jula, a store that does a good job when it's convenient for them, and doesn't lift a finger when it doesn't suit them.. Recently I bought a jack for my car + an impact wrench. It turned out this impact wrench had been used and didn't work properly, and they had by accident resold it to me. I had already laid out all the wheels and prepared everything, just for this not to work. Loads of my time spent. The store eventually changed the product (the man at the store was professional) with a new one, although I lost a bit of the package that I had paid for and I had to pay extra for some additional equipment I needed (that was not part of the delivery any more, another 200 NoK out of pocket). When asking customer service how they would reinburse me for all this wasted time and cost they flaked and asked me to go back to the store and try and fight them about this. (their own Jula Store) IT would have been so easy for Jula to just give a 2-300 NoK reimbursement on my account for my next purchase (I do buy quite a bit of stuff with Jula). But no, they push this internally and gives the customer the responsibility to get it sorted. Personally This was a poor customer experience and it does make me think twice about going back there for larger items in the future.
This practise is nothing short of theft.
After many years of using Jula I will be cancelling them entirely. I asked my girlfriend to pick up a couple of things for me as she passed this outlet and she came home with things that I did not want nor ask for. These items were pressed onto her by the member of staff who took advantage of the situation. One of the items was falsely advertised on the packaging and described as a drill bit for all purposes. There is no drill bit in the world that will drill metal, wood, masonry, tile and glass. This fraudulently described item was grossly over priced, 2 and a half times the cost of the item I required. I previously asked a member of staff if a motorised item was a good one and they assured me that it was. It was absolute garbage and I threw it away after trying it twice! Jula is not a trustworthy outlet.
Disappointing Experience with Product…
Disappointing Experience with Product… Disappointing Experience with Product Quality, Delivery, and Customer Service I’ve encountered three major issues with my recent purchase and experience at Jula. 1. Delivery Delays and Poor Communication: The online delivery was significantly slower than expected, and the information provided about delays did not match the actual situation. The delay was much longer than what was communicated, which was frustrating and inconvenient. 2. Faulty Product Design and Disputed Responsibility: I purchased a Jordfräs 2.5 kW 40 cm, which failed within the first hour of use. The bolts attaching the handle shaft to the main unit snapped. In my opinion, this was due to a manufacturing defect, the bolt holes after closer inspection appeared misaligned by about 7 mm , causing uneven stress during use on some bolts. Although I hadn’t used the product immediately after purchase (about 5 weeks), when I returned it for repair, the service center claimed it had been incorrectly mounted by me and charged me for the repair, which, unfortunately, did not resolve the original issue of the misaligned bolt holes and the attaching plate sitting not straight. I followed up with customer service to contest the outcome, but the matter has not been resolved to date. It will move to an independent national adjudication process fir resolution. 3. Customer Service Lacking in Support: The customer service experience has been disappointing. Responses to emails have been selective and some key concerns were ignored. When asking about quality assurance, repair processes, and repair staff qualifications, the responses leaned heavily on legal disclaimers rather than directly addressing the concerns or helping to find a solution. Even though the store acknowledged the issue in person, they were unable to act, redirecting everything to the central customer service team. However informing me it there will be no issues as the fault is so obvious and visible. They got that wrong, but the staff at the store are fantastic and always have been. Final Thoughts: While the prices may be attractive, in this case, the saying "you get what you pay for" seems to apply. Between the product quality concerns, lack of accountability, and unhelpful customer service, I’ve decided to shop elsewhere in the future, at retailers where both product reliability and customer support are taken more seriously. Defected or fake Soda maker from Jula Åsane
The Soda make can not inject the gas properly to the water and it seems there is not a good sealing or new CO2 canister from Jula does not have enough gas pressure for making soda. It was so obvious that one could see the water after the injection of gas, does not have enough gas but the employee of Jula rejected the return and she claimed because she has same and it works fine, so that this one must be fine also. This was so strange for me that now I am suspicious that probably the Jula employee must have another agenda rather than giving customer service. I bought the soda make on 21.03.2025 and I return it on 25.03.2025.
