sadly Ive too been victim of over…

sadly Ive too been victim of over charges. Voipo has over charged my account about $1600. Sadly I didnt check my bank as all my payments are on auto pay. I only found out about the fraud recently as I googled information trying to contact Voipo becuase they werent answering and I needed a PIN to port over my numbers to a different carrier. I saw all the complains got a gut feeling I might be a victim too. Sure enough, I go back thru my bank statements and they overcharged me approx $1600. Someone needs to be in jail. I have a feeling there are THOUSANDS of VOIPO VICTIMS

Complaint Regarding Unfair Business Practices by voipo.com

voipo.com repeatedly charged my credit card without my authorization—this occurred two years in a row, sometimes more than once in a year. Each time, I was forced to spend time tracking down a refund, which was inconsistently provided. On several occasions, instead of refunding my money, voipo.com offered only to apply a credit toward future service. In March 2025, I was charged again without authorization and despite multiple attempts from March through August 2025, I was unable to obtain a refund. Shortly thereafter, the company ceased operations entirely. Given the timing and the widespread likelihood that many customers experienced the same treatment, it raises the concern that this may have been part of a deliberate business plan: collecting prepaid funds from customers before shutting down, then deflecting responsibility by claiming refund issues with credit card processors. This constitutes unfair and potentially deceptive business practices. Because of this, I strongly recommend that voipo.com’s referral to voip.ms for porting migration not be relied upon. Customers deserve to know that similar unfair practices may occur, particularly if there is any ongoing business or ownership relationship between voipo.com and voip.ms.

VOIPO Rip Off

I had VOIPO service for several years and have been far less than impressed. There has been no customer service during their outages. You had to rely on sending an email for support. If you were lucky, you might get a generic email response. No matter what the problem was, the stock response was "unplug all your devices.". This worked once in ten years. Now, all of the VOIPO customers have received an email giving them six to eight days to find another provider because there complaints against them and their credit card processing rating is evidently so bad that they have lost their accreditation as a company. How they have done this? A couple weeks ago they were l still asking for payments a year or more in advance and probably and pushing online sales pitches while their finances we're tanking. This is, at best, border line criminal, and certainly total incompetence. I have sent multiple emails about a refund for services that will never be rendered and I get no response. No response?! That says it all.

Fraudulent

For years I tolerated VOIP poor service because its price was attractive. Recently, VOIPO kept sending out emails inviting customers to pre-purchase their future services. These emails continued coming until late in July. Then abruptly on August 1, VOIPO announced that it will cease service immediately, and that the customers should seek service elsewhere. Then, VOIPO stopped service, and stopped responding to emails. As things are, I am paid up until the end of 2029. Clearly, that was not one of my smartest decisions. VOIPO now owes me $410 in services or in refund.

Last year VOIPO charged my credit…

Last year VOIPO charged my credit without my authorization. After my request, they refunded. But, they did again this year: charged its services to 2029... Now it is ceasing business. That is criminal activity! David Yu

Poor customer service

Poor customer service; poor phone quality etc. Everything poor. Lines were down for two days recently and luckily I found another company and started porting my phone number. It should be done 8/4/25. Like most, I did not receive any notification that Voipo was going out of business. I just happened across it when I tried to log on to the website. Porting may not be possible for some customers with such short notice. However, when the phones were down recently, I did speak with someone at the California PUC. They will try and assist anyone with problems with Voipo. We may not all be totally screwed.
