Stylish Designs, Mixed Experience
Structube has nice designs and fair prices, but quality and service can be hit or miss. Some pieces last, others don’t. Decent overall, just manage expectations.
Don't order
I purchased this unit from Structube and installed it exactly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The doors were visibly crooked from the start. Assuming it might be an installation issue, I fully uninstalled and reinstalled the unit twice, carefully following all guidance, BUT the problem persisted every time. I contacted Structube support and followed every troubleshooting step they suggested. None resolved the issue. I was then told the problem must be my floors. I provided clear photographic evidence showing both the floor and the unit itself are level. Their explanation still made no sense: one door sits too high while the other sits too low, which is inconsistent with uneven flooring. This strongly suggests a manufacturing or door alignment defect. I requested replacement doors which is a totally reasonable request. Structube refused, stating that “based on internal review” this could not be a manufacturing defect. When I asked how they reached that conclusion, they told me their reasoning was internal and could not be shared. Despite evidence disproving their claim, they continued to insist my floors were crooked or that the installation was at fault. Their final offer for a clearly defective product was a $50 gift card. This experience showed poor quality control, dismissive customer service, and a refusal to take responsibility even when presented with clear evidence. I would strongly caution anyone considering furniture purchases from Structube! Ff something arrives defective, you may be blamed rather than helped.
Be aware they don’t have actual inventory. 2 months + wait time
Be aware they don’t have much in stock although the sales at the store tells you so. I replaced my order 2 months ago being told it will arrive within 3 weeks from Quebec. Now after 2 months, still waiting. The customer service / sales rep doesn’t care other than making a sale to meet the quota. Absolutely no communication even an email notifying me any updates on my order. As they already took your money and deal with the after service yourself. I believe these guys have no money invested in inventory. After they take your payment then they place an actual order from their source likely far out in Asia, taking weeks to months to be shipped here over sea. Keeping a lean business with a few samples in the store front; while selling you something they never even have. Be aware! Unless you have months and months to wait for your furnitur; or else suggest some other more established brand names with real inventory and real customer service. Really bad customer experience !
Customer service is absolutely a hellish nightmare
Customer service is absolutely horrible. Ordering online works fine. Then the nightmare starts, trying to organize a delivery is hellish. Avoid this company. Customer service is threatening and rude. I don't even have the goods yet (sitting in their warehouse) and trying to cancel the order is a nightmare. I was so appalled by their attitude i opted to cancel even before it left their warehouse .. now they are unresponsive.
Desk
I ordered a desk. I loved the look and the size. The delivery folks put it in my home by rolling it end-over-end. One corner was damaged. One drawer had grease marks inside ( it came assembled) and one was hard to open. I asked for it to be replaced, they offered money, but I declined and told them I want a new desk. It's been over a month while I wait for them to decided what to do and they said it must be taken apart and put in the original packaging. This desk is large. The packing was recycled a month ago. Now they won't help me until I take it apart, pack it up with heavy duty plastic and cardboard with reinforced corners and then send them a photo. IF they approve they will start a new return and new delivery. The first delivery took weeks. I suggested putting the old one in the new packaging and they informed me that the delivery folks can't wait for me to do that. I told them I don't have access to reinforced cardboard corners. They basically said those are rules. I told them it feels like they are trying to get me to accept the cash offer to avoid the return process. I will not order from them ever again.
Dining table cracking apart in less than 6 months!!
I purchased a dining table from Structube. Within less than 6 months the leg had started to crack all the way through. I asked for a refund or replacement as the table was practically new and the response given was “ Acacia is a natural hardwood, and variations such as cracks, splits, or checking can occur over time due to changes in temperature and humidity within the home environment. As wood naturally expands and contracts, these changes may result in cracks forming along the grain, even within the first months of ownership”. Structube sells sub par items that break down instantly! Do not waste your money please!
