I like Budgens but I have to draw the line. Feeling poorly on the drive home I stopped off at Budgens, on Whippendell road. I wanted to purchase a box of paracetamol. I asked the price and was told £1.50 for 1 box 16tablets Galpharm Paracetamol. I could not believe it. The price of paracetamol in Sainsbury is less than 50p. The pharmacy 63p. B&m and the high street less than 60p for Galpharm. Why is Budgens allowed to rip off customers. 😔 prices need to be controlled with these businesses.

I've been visiting 2 different budgens shops for a few years and there is a strange culture whereby the customers are the only problem that the staff have, indeed, the workers lives would be so much more pleasant if it wasn't for all the people buying stuff all the time. Very very toxic environment.

Just purchased potatoes from the Giltbrook Nottingham store. Opened to find green and beginning to chit. So returned immediately and selected another bag but then the owner tried to charge and would not swap or refund!!

Brighton Station branch...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ANYTHING....Went this mornig to buy something their contact less machine wasn't working properly they asked to tap the card again and when asked if I'll be charged twice they said Noooo don't worry....later on 2 notifications....you've been charged twice👎👎👎👎went to ask for refund....."aaaahhh you have to come back tomorrow" when the manager is here...rubbish service 🤬🤬🤬
